Ctrl300 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 Sadly Australian Andy Coldecott has become the 23rd victim of the Paris Dakar Rally's 28 year history. He is reported to have been killed instantly when fighting to improve his 6th position overall on his bike. This just shows how a brutal and unfogiving the rally is and how much respect these adventurous dare-devils deserve.

Ctrl300 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 Tragic news indeed. Dakar is probably the last frontier in racing. God bless them all for their guts, may the rest of them get there in one piece.
