Kimi Raikkonen's second practice was full of trouble, as the engine fitted on his McLaren Mercedes MP4-21 suffer a blow-up. As a result it needs to be replaced, while the Finn will be penalised ten places on the starting grid.

actually the released version by McLaren is that Kimi's car suffered an electrical problem and simply disrupted the end of the day's programme. No official penalty has been placed on Kimi, and it does not seem to be a major problem, they attribute the slower times to a concentration on tyre work instead of changing sets and fuel load for the second practice as most teams did, McLaren decided to usee all day to test out the track conditions and tyre wear. Other than those, i think the car was fast enough today, and if they can get everything settled for tomorrow, they're gonna be a factor...
