Yeah, the default setting work fairly well. You can also change the difficulty of your opponent in another page so you can always be competitive.

No i use XP X64 edition. I cannot game on Vista yet, as nVidia's vista drivers suck majorly and are not yet optimised for 3D performance.

Sorry I am confused is the decision:

A: You have Vista and are deciding whether to have the game

B: You are deciding whether to upgrade to Vista

C: Some other point that I missed entirely?

Also, the game itself would be the same on Vista as on XP, the odds are it would just run at a slightly lower framerate than on XP. However this is a short term problem, nVidia are working very hard and it will be sorted pretty shortly

it is A. I have a nvidia 7600 on my laptop..., anyways but i downloaded the huge a## demo , and found it isn't that great.....(basically i sucked coz i could only beat one car out off 10(starting last) that too in the GTR race(using the gtr car)

The game is hard, but the cars in the full version are a lot better.

The game does work on Vista, so theres no reason not to get it. The driver situation will improve

I haven't had the sack to purchase it yet ... What I've seen from the demo is mind-blowing, but ... I dislike that you can't try any of the addon content with the demo verison. Let's face it, if the addon content blows, then the 50 spacebucks for the full game are a waste.

A big draw, for me, is that there is supposedly a V8 Supercars mod out there, somewhere in production...
