I don't think Sun Microsystems and Intel see eye-to-eye, so why the heck would McLaren want Intel onboard unless they are losing their Sun support?

Exactly, and the technical partnership with the FIA was a very smart move, as is their policy of cobranding laptops with Acer and Ferrari. The acer ferrari laptops are probably the most reasonably priced Ferrari merchandise you can buy in relative terms.

Intel however continue to have a massive market share. and they got the Apple deal

my comp has an AMD processor...i didnt buy it because of the Ferrari link.

I'm stuck with a very crap intel one at the minute (I am naming no processor chip names since I do not wish to endorse this pile of tripe). AMD are generally better performance-wise
