It is not a matter of German mentality. The business is to race, and you take people who are good at it. old Ferrari example, Ferrari are Italian, todt is French, Brawn is a brit, Schu is german (german mentality right there). Good drivers fit in with good teams. If BMW are a well run team, who show a decent degree of respect for their drivers and shoe a commitment to improvement, believe me JV will fit right in.

Cavallino, I'd agree with you, except that F1 is not BMW's primary business. Put simply, BMW exists to sell cars. Racing (whether in F1 or any other series) is merely a means to that end, not the end in itself. As a result, BMW will select a driver who best fulfills their corporate objectives, whether or not they are the best racing driver. The most that JV can hope for right now is that BMW will not want to alienate his multitude of fans and risk losing them as customers (either as new clients or in the form of return business), and decide that he is therefore the most desirable option for that seat.............

I'm getting fed up of F1 really if JV is not there next year i don't see a ****in single race ,

all this is crap , all those drivers in for JV drive are all patethic, JV is the best ,

i hope he get a seat more at williams then at BMw , and i hope williams then beat BMw next season, with JV

It would be interesting to see kenneth, but unfortunately unlikely. I think Anthony Davidson is the best choice for williams. Rosberg is such a huge risk/gamble, pizzonia is NOT worth it. I'm going to enjoy watching BMW fail (even though I'll feel sorry for Heidfeld)

if it's between Wurz, Pizzonia and Wheldon, then he is, and by some margin as he has shown in recent races. JV is a major long shot for a Williams seat. I feel Rosberg will get that seat.

he's actually German. I think Kiasersalek knows the story more than I do but I think he was born in Germany and has chosen to represent Germany or something like that. His dad is indeed a Finn, but he's a character in the mould of Irvine and Villeneuve, he's nothing like Kimi or Mika.
