Testing Begins..........

Recommended Posts

Back to work today!

McLaren, BMW-Sauber, and Toyota will kick off their winter testing schedules at the Barcelona circuit this morning, the three teams due to be joined by several of their rivals tomorrow but are hoping to get off to somewhat of a head start.

While there is no change at the McLaren and Toyota teams, the two camps continuing with their 2005 driver line ups, all eyes will be on the newly purchased BMW outfit to see who they will send out on track. While no official confirmation has been forthcoming, former Nick Heidfeld is expected to be on duty, as there is yet to be a decision on Jacques Villeneuve in the second seat, or on their official test driver.

We here at GP2005.com will bring you all the details of the first day back on track when the day comes to a close at the Spanish circuit.

Well this means that we (members of the forum) will have more to talk about. But i dont expect to get a accurate picture of which team is fastest until January at the earliest.

i bet even Barain wont be the best gauge. i say we need atleast 3 races to see who the season will go. if we get 3 diff teams on first it might just be a good year. and now that Newy if not at Meclarain anymore i want to see how they fair.

Well this should keep everyone occupied for the week.

Only 102 days, 15 hours, 38 minutes and 20 seconds to go before Bahrain!
