I don't think so boy band, Montoya's gross underperformance last season reduced his standing in many peoples eyes. Particularly because Ralf also showed poorly (despite the final standings) and that was the only previous benchmark for the Columbian.

i think on his day, liek at monaco 04, he is top 5. although i don't rate ralf very highly he, like jarno, can be very good on his day. bottom line, so is juan, and he is better than both. again you exaggerate. i'm seeing a pattern this evening, if not in your history of posts, of exaggerating to make a point. why? juan is nowhere near as bad as you make him out to be. kimi is better, but he hardly humiliated juan. juan just had a Sh#t start to the season, got injured, and lost interest playing second fiddle and was victim to silly incidents, an indirect result of being nowhere in the championship battle by the time he returned.

Thats right it has nothing to do with my opinion of sato, I personally just think he is quite slow and a bit accident prone. But theres absolutely no reason to think he's going to cause a serious accident and kill someone! Its exaggeration beyond belief

Sato has a dedicated spotter at the beginning of GP instructing him where and where not to drive his car to avoid incidents... He lacks the ability to drive safely yet you don't see him as a safety threat? I'm baffled.

JPM is a fast driver but his personality and nature beat him before his co-driver has a chance to...The only way Juan will win a WDC is with a team that can deal with a Smart@ss, a chas/eng/tyre package that can take extreme abuse, a ban on Tennis matches and Motor-cross( and whatever else he does to injure his wrist)...and a calorie-controlled diet with plenty of exercise.

I agree with you realick but this forum is weird, everyone (except me) seems to think JPM is fat and rubbish, and some morons even think the 2003 williams was the best car that year.

I'm one of those morons that believe the Williams-BMW-Michelin was the best package in 2003. However, I don't believe JPM is fat and rubbish. I think he's quite good (certainly not as bad as some would have us believe) and stormed home from mid season onwards in terms of speed in comparison to Kimi. Yeah, he is accident prone and has more than he really should, but not all were his fault and I think he'll be one to watch next year should he improve his consistency, as the speed is there.

Boy band? That almost hurt JPM is NOT a mediocre driver. Did you see his drive in germany, fighting his way from last to 2nd? Did you see his drive in Brazil? Whilst he may not be as consitent as other top drivers, he is capable of dominating when he drives like he can. JPM beat Ralf pretty easily 02,03,and 04
