Ferrari's Rear Wing Illegal

After Ferrari's stunning performance on Saturday the design of their rear wing has been questioned by some teams, although the FIA said the flexible rear wing is completely legal on the Ferrari 248 F1 as it was checked on Saturday morning.

The FIA always checks every car to see if it is completely legal. They measure how flexible the wings are and if it is still within the book.

Pat Symonds told reporters in Bahrain: "I am not at all happy about it. It is very clear what you can or cannot do within the rules. There might be specific rules about specific parts, but there are also general rules and I know exactly what that Ferrari wing does. And that is not what I would expect it should do."

Well then the "some teams" should come forward and make a complaint. If you honestly believe that Ferrari are up the FIA's arse then you wont be capable of objective debate about it.

if Ferrari were to run the exact same chasis as renault, and then end up on pole, Pat would still find a way to make it seam illigale

sooner or lated hPat will say something as stupis as: red is too distracting and a dangerous color to run in a race so ferrari have to be DQed, or MS's helmet is too aero dinamic and so he always has to start 10 spots from where he qualifies.
