Who Are Your Top 3 Drivers In F1?

Recommended Posts

Most honest answer I've read so far about this subject! I even like your Top three! Of course we are talking that Liuzzi is Nr.4, correct?

Hmmm....I think Liuzzi has spun far too much this season. He's an exciting driver to watch, but his spins always ruin it for me...

His spins might have helped define this WDC! That's not just spinnig, that's strategic driving :naughty:

Ive never said he's not a good driver.. He is good just not as good as King Alonso!

I can't believe people would rate Massa ahead of Button, let alone in the top 3......

Agreed, The 2006 Ferrari was so fast at times, a monkey or Robert Mugabe would have even won a couple of races!

Careful, my friend, that argument can also be used for Alonso at times :D No sense giving the opposition spare ammo!!

But Alonso won 7 races in 2006 and the world title compared to Massa's 2.

Im saying that drivers like Fissi & Massa merely won their races by default (having a unbeatable car at the time)!

But unlike Massa, Alonso has won races when his car isn't best, or from places he shouldn't. (not to mention those 2 WDC's he has).

I see theres been mor emention of Massa being towards the pointy end since I last posted, and I really can't get over it. I think some people don't take cars into consideration, because if they truely did Massa wouldn't be there, or they would of rated him as highly in the sauber.

Interesting to hear the reasons for everyone's top three, some great posts in here.

Think I'll put the cat amongst the pigeons....

1) Alonso

2) Button

3) Kimi

Reason for Kimi in 3rd? Button at Interlagos from 14th on the grid (not his firsat charge from the back either), round the outside of Kimi at the start of Hungary, super clean moves, bloody consistent, so smooth he looks boring - a bit like Prost in fact. I think Kimi is capable of putting in a faster banzai lap, but I think Button is more complete.

Button has made some stupid mistakes in the past (career), the Brit press have built him up ridiculously, Fry harps on too much, but I really believe he's matured into a great driver.

The coming year? Kibica and Hamilton will be special to watch. Will Massa tidy up his driving in the wet?

Everyone seems to have forgotten performances like that from Button which most drivers (eg MASSA) cant do. Button's drive from 14th to 3rd in Brazil was simply outstanding

What year was that  Anyway that isnt a amazing performance as all F1 drivers should be capable of that. Remember Coulthard went from 13th to 5th in 1 lap in 2005 and many people dont rate Coulthard at all and i bet you the car Coulthard was driving at the European GP in 2005 was far less competitive than the car Button was driving.

1)Kimi

2)Button

3)Webber... :clap3:

:eusa_think:

20)Fisichella

21)Coulthard

22)Alonso

I would rather have Massa in second place but that would not be fear, he first need a win in the wet like button did and I think Webber will end DC career this next season that's why he is in the third place.

This only proves how little you know about F1. How can a double world champion be the worst driver on the grid and how can a driver who has won 13 races been the 2nd worst on the grid.

How can a lot of people here rate Michael Schumacher less than the greatest driver of all time? I did it just like that.

13 races with a top car, none with any other car and just 1 podiun with TR

Why dont you take a hard look at the 1997 season as Coulthard won in that car and it wasnt overally competitive. Why dont you do your research before you start spouting out such crap.

I think a first turn pile up might of helped him out there.......

It still got start of the year for 2005 so it was obviously still a skilled peice of driving.

Yes, you're referring of course to the inherited wins....

This is turning into a Kimi Raikkonen supporters clubs Alonso bashing thread... As soon as I hear the words "Alonso"+"Inherited" in the same sentence, I laugh and rather say "Raikkonen"+"Car Breaker"!

Here's to Kimi breaking plenty more cars in 2007 and bags full of new excuses.

Kind Regards

Fan of the Double world champion!
