Do You Support The Driver Or The Team?

....and Lewis Hamilton as I really think this guy looks the goods and also so far doesn't have the ego problem - let's hope he doesn't join the dark side.

Let's hope he doesn't, but i really don't think he will. Having said that, if in a year or so he is making Fernando and Kimi look silly, i think he would be entitled to a bit of ego!

I've always been a Ferrari fan and was always a huge Schumacher fan. Problem is, Schumacher retired and I was left without a favourite. I'll always like Ferrari but I've never been a big fan of Raikkonen, maybe he'll grow on me but i'm more inclined to route for Massa. With Schumi gone I thought of a short list of drivers I liked and who I might follow: Massa, Fisi, Trulli and new boy Hamilton. Fisi and Trulli are getting old and as much as I like to see them doing well I dont think i'd get fully behind them to support them. Massa at Ferrari seems natural to support but Hamilton impressed me so much in his opening race - I've never been a big McLaren fan though so thats the next catch. Also the fact that I havent liked an English driver since Mansell - I Think it's the press that does something to me to turn me off Brit drivers.

The result... It's Massa or Hamilton for me, but I'll always love Ferrari.

Always have been a Renault (teams) fan, though I couldn't stand/cheer for Prost, Senna (Williams Renault) and Schumacher (Benetton Renault), and barely digest Hill or Villeneuve. The only clicking/magic moment were Mansell Williams-Renault and Alonso Renault.

For drivers, I do like Alonso and Kimi, but I was never a fan of McLaren and Ferrari, quite the contrary.

So teams Renault, BMW and Red Bull Renault, drivers hmmnnn Kubica, Hamilton...

I guess I probably follow the drivers more then the teams. At the moment it would be Mark Webber (for pure patriotism and the fact he doesn't imo have the usual ego problem associated with many F1 drivers) and Lewis Hamilton as I really think this guy looks the goods and also so far doesn't have the ego problem - let's hope he doesn't join the dark side.

I agree with everything Crackerz said above

Thanks mate :)
