Aw, I love that Kayleigh song. And it does remind me of you too! I do quite like Marillion as well.

Er. Well, I may as well ask.

Does anybody else like stuff like Ministry of Sound, Club music, Hard House? I guess it stems from my days when I worked as a dancer (not a nudey one) in Garlands & Cream back in Liverpool. Is it wrong to still like that kind of stuff at 30?

Ahh yes, majorly into all that sorta stuff. Specially eletronic/funky house, drum n bass all that stuff. Love club music in general, its even better when drunk!

Also Jem I read on the BBC news website that the new Westlife tour starts on Monday and that theres still quite a few seats left, are you going? I also read on there that Girls Aloud whose Arena tour begins in mid May has sold out in half the dates and alo found out that there are just single seats left of the last remaining tickets for the other dates! Seems Westlife are loseing their appeal eh, since they can no longer come up with original material i.e. their last album is just one of cover versions! Cannot wait for 26th May where me and Dan are gonna be right at the front for the Wembley gig by Girls Aloud, whose i may just remind you have shifted more tickets than Westlife have for their upcoming tour. Ohhhh how I love that, a reality TV formed group can pack out 20,000 seat arenas 3 months before their tour has started and sold out in some of them in just a week! Ahh I love that. This reality TV formed group are also going to be the most successful ever UK girl band by quite a margin on Sunday next week when their duet with Sugababes will head most probably straight to number 1! Ahh life is good for a Girls Aloud fan!

Sorry to have a dig at you Jem but since your the only other member who is victimised by others for liking your fave band Ithough I might rub some salt into your wound by adding my fave band, who also are critically acclaimed unlike westlife, are now a far greater power than your pile of poo in the music industry.

And those who say Girls aloud are just sex on legs and thats i check out the two videos above this post which shows they can sing completely live and do wuite rigorous dance routines at the same time. Something else westlife cant do.

If you cant guess I am slightly drunk while writing this and I know none of you care but still ahahahahahahaaaaaaaa

How can they all be sluts when they are all in long term relationships and dont sleep around. Im not trying to make any of you like them, I'm just trying to show you that they can sing, they can perform, they can pack out 22,000 seat arenas, and their own music is completely different to ANYTHING else in this country right now. Infact indie bands etc which seem to be the main draw atm all sound more similar  to each other than any pop bands/artists do to girls aloud!

Ben, it pains me to say it but you fail to grasp a basic understanding of how the music industry works and how it exploits these pathetic young ladies. The industry preys on people like you who lap it up. You wouldn't know or appreciate a decent or significant piece of music if it got up, slapped you hard in the gob and called itself Freebird. Stop pretending that you know about music and stop defending these talentless hoares.

HAHAHA NEVER! I like lots of music. Just because all u lot hate the band I like most doesnt make you music experts does it! I like music to be fun an enjoyable. Surely at least the enjoyable part is what is the most important criteria? If I enjoy it then thats what I'm going to listen to!

Your average 18 year old has no taste. They need some years under their belt to truly know the good from the horrible.

No, they listen to whats around at the mo. Just be thankful im not one of those wanna be black people who listen solely to rap music. Thats whats killing the music industry.

Anyway most people my age at uni listen mainly to House, Funky house, trance, electronic house, average dance, indie, some mild rock and pop.  certainly listen to all of them mainly and so do nearly every single person i know! I just pity those born in the very late 90's early 00's who will not have appreciated the class that were Oasis and Blur among others!

I play keyboards, mostly classic rock and R&B piano. Been ages since I last played on a band, though  Been thinking about getting myself a keyboard again and do some stuff with all those wonderful programs that there are now for computers (Reason, for example). You can do some really cool things with those. I've been experimenting a little.
