quali 2

P6 alonso 1:34.917

P12 jv 1:35.384

diff +0.467

looks like the .467 was too large a gap, as driver after driver seemed to push jv down, and widen the distance between the 2 renault pilots. i must say renault's looking very sluggish tho. i don't think its fuel either because they've been slow all weekend.

it will be interesting tho to see m$ carve his way through the pack, with the inevitable scenario where he must overtake jv at some point to get to the front...will it be done in the pits, or will he try to monster the former world champ?...

Since when have practice times had any relevance to............anything?????

As an aside to the topic, JV is an average driver who won a WDC by virtue of a vastly superior Williams car and an equally inept Damon Dill as a teammate.

I look forward to watching him flop (though the Renault is a handy enough tool to mask even his incompetence).

I don't look forward to having to listen to him again (much finger pressing of the "mute" button on the remote, I think).

you're absolutely right redline, they should ban all practice. it is a completely irrelevant exercise that achieves nothing...

Sorry, I just switched off when I got up to the JV being average bit.

Anyways, as for JV, looking at all the times, it looks like its down to fuel. That's what Im gonna tell myself until tomorrow anyways

As for JV having the best car, what has M$ had since 2000? And inept teammates, M$ has the best of them in the Lapdog himself...and as for him flopping, you're in for a long wait, anyways, where were you before JV came back in a good car, it seems all the critics went away and then once JV got a competitive car, they're back, scared of a challenge are we??

So, another Nickalaus( in the form of Redline ) on board is it?

Well, 'nojvnof1', make it a point to say " we " . Because i think JV is on heavy fuel as well. It is just like last year is'nt it.JV was slightly slower than JB with a heavy fuel load. But I hope the R24 is better than that absolute crap of a BAr they gave him last year.

I do think that Renault would want Jacques to be on the heavier 1st stint (a lap or two) than Alonso. Alonso is the more experienced Renault Team driver ,so he should lead the way and give feedback to the team and Jacques can learn from that.

People look where J.P.M. is in 11th ...Massa ,, I ..I can not find him ....what ? where is he ,in 4th ..no....must be light.

We might very well get a MS-JV duel here... I wonder how JV will take the start...

we may well get a MS, JV and Sato battle. imagine that MS and JV hate each other, and Jv hates BAR and Sato took his spot.

Do you really think MS & JV hate each other. No way haven't you heard what each have said about each other, they speak as friends.

They are both racing drivers with excellent talent, both will just race the best they can like the rest of the grid. JV will try to stop MS from passing him but only because he wants to win

Schumi was brought by ferrari to win, he didn't do that today either, don't be an a## clown about it.

Michael Schumacher was less impressive than JV by some margin. JV has the excuse of not knowing the track, car, team, tyres etc whilst Michael can make no excuses for his display of spins, misjudged overtaking manoeuvre and general lack of consistency. I would say that this is one of Michael

Hey dip s##te I wasn't being an a## about it I was just pointing out what happened, yeag MS had a bad race, hands down if anything this should friahten you ms haters because he doesn't like looking the fool. JV's own team came on the radio and said pass Webber and he couldn't do it ,he also ran on avg. 2-2.5 secs. a lap slower than Alonso. I told you not to get your hopes up, and he'll do no better in Japan

Hmmmm lets see.

First race in a year, competing against drivers who have known their cars for the whole year. Had a great start

Comes out and finishes ahead of MS.

Hmmmmmm.

Guess what lap was JV fastest????? The last one. I wouldn't bet against JV doing better in Japan pumpdoc. I would hate to see you lose your money.

Yeah, but JV didn't start from the pits, spin, and have a flat tire all in one race to come back to finish 12th... (11th in his case)
