I like Sato, he seems like a nice guy, I especially like the way he isn't frightened to make brave overtaking moves. But he'll never be a top driver, he just simply doesn't have the speed, and some of his moves are a bit too brave

Exactly, and at the end of last year he started to show it abit, he became more calm and made no real mistakes, now he just needs to speed it up alittle from where he is and he'll be quite a good driver, no matter what Sato bashers say.

If JV had of taken the chance and gone to McLaren back in 98 or 99, he would have been sitting on 3 WC. I am a huge fan of Jacques, I just hope that he hasnt lost it (i dont think he has)

Some considerations:

-Is very intersting how Raikkonen is close to MS..I'm also a McLaren fan.But remember that Schuey is the most winning driver of all time and Kimi has not yet won the championship

-There is a big gap beetween kimi and the other three big boys of F.1 (JPM,FA and JB,all in a close fight for the 3rd best).I don't see this big difference beetween them,also in terms of stats.

-Webber is at the same level of Barrichello in the ranking right now.You forget Rubens has been the most challenging team mate ever for Schuey,although he is clearly a number 2,Webber best result in a F.1 remains a 5th place and he has never had an experienced team mate.

-JV ahead of Trulli....I don't think so.Trulli was pretty much on the same level of JB in 2002 at Renault and has matured since,JV was definitely slower at BAR in '03 and seems to get slower with time.

-No one has named Giancarlo Fisichella.He's the most underrated guy in F.1 and I don't think he's slower than Rubens,Webber,Trulli or JV.I've read many Sauber insiders miss him and preferred him to JV.

yes but on that logic, then you'd have to rate jv, as the only other world champion on the current grid (apart fom NM of course!?), which you do not. not to mentin dc & ralf, who have both also won a handful of gps.

i totally agree with your call re fisi, he would be my number 6. but alas this is a top 5.
