Yep I agree, that's basically what I stated as well, I think his father was fishing him around, well he didn't really need to and redbull had to do this to stop him going elsewhere. Yeah his contract stays he is going to drive for redbull but doesn't all the toro Rosso drivers? As they are supposed to step up? So he must have had some other contract compared to the others. Or maybe one of the teams was willing to buy him out and we just haven't heard about it, there lots that goes on the media won't catch wind of. The private mobile phone calls while at home or on vacation things like that.

He got an explanation but is playing the dumb game now. Horner said it was innevitable there would be a swap. It's been rumoured all year long.

If the situation was toxic at STR with Sainz and Max, and Kvyat was the one they had decided was going to be replaced, the solution is rather simple. Swap them now and don't bother waiting until years end.

Kvyat won't last long in F1 if he doesn't develop some humility. Even drivers like Maldonado who had some of the biggest sponsorship ever, didn't last forever. Money may get you into F1, but it's talent and a willingness to be a team player that keeps you in it.

It has nothing to do with Kvyat, as Webric said, they wanted to put that kid in a competitive car because of pressure from the dad. Kvyat deserved to be there. a Little bit of polishing those rough edges and he would've been fine, all drivers have to grow

Public enemy nr 1: Max Verstappen...in our radar!

I see Vettel is saying the decision to swap RB drivers was decided before Sochi and DK has said he has had no detailed explanation as to his demotion. He went on to say that he thought he had done a good job overall and there was no pressure competing with DR. RBR got pressured by Jos to move his boy up or lose him. My money says DK outpoints MV this season. He should also look for a team that values him. He's a better bet than Palmer at Renault for sure.

It has been revealed by Horner, that their drivers have a clause in their contract, which allows management to moved them around within those two teams. Kvyat, says Horner, could be back next year (I read it as a warning salvo across bows of MV and DR). Not so much has been discussed garage infighting between both teams, and management disobedience, which resulted in two people leaving.

that's what I think to, redbull had to push him through to keep him.

Yeah I've heard about something like this with redbull before.
