Yes, I would agree that Sato is getting thrashed given that JB is 2-0 up on Sato in:

Race classification

Aggregate Qualifying (sweeping individual sessions as well)

and Faster laps

Yes, although some of the fans have come around to say that Sato is not as good as Button, but you are quite right in demanding they admit he is not good at all. I imagine we could put together quite an extensive list of current drivers who are probably better than Sato but not in F1. In fact, I may have to start that thread soon...

I will say...

Sato, is not the best driver, was better then him in 2004 (2005 is too early to be sure about that sort of thing IMO), he is the most exciting driver on the grid, and has the potential to be very good, as we have seen from races where he shows some great pace and overtaking moves. He is no alex yoong, just like he is know Michael Schumacher.

Yoong is the worst driver we have seen in the past 5 years whereas Sato is in the top 20 or 25... I don't know about you but mine would include - in a very loose order by grouping:

I think you've got a few drivers alittle low, IE Klien, he has been nothing short of great this season, for a man in his second year under pressure to eprfrom against the experince of DC, atleast in IMO.

the pictures posted by bajo39 on another thread support that the move happened, a website remarked it as move of the race and maybe the season and a few of us saw it. Why would we make something like this up, sheesh , I'm not a big Taku fan, so why would I make something up. If this was the same situation, but JB having made the move, it would have been milked for all it's worth, but since the "useless" and "inept" Sato (other's words, not mine) made it, it has to be made up, get over it.

If you'd bother to read what I said, then you'd know I was talking about YEARS IN F1, not the age of the driver. This is JB's sixth year in F1, drivers in their 1st-3rd year in F1 have potential, after that, it's deliver or you're not good enough. Look, this is MW's 4th yr in F1, and he's doing OK so far, this is JB's sixth, so lose the "potential" tag and start raising your expectations, cos he's almost a veteran, besides, you'd have nothing to worry about if he's half as good as you think he is, which he isn't.

Now retreating to my bunker, please direct all anti-JV/pro-JB quotes at the nearest brick wall, which gives more of a damn then I do.
