Yeah, Alonso knew that Kimmi was going to pit, so why to risk the race trying to protect the position?...Alonso is smart...Kimmi is the one that have to risk now...

Not sure what to  make of your comments.  Of course the race went to Massa, which I concurred on and I identified JV's mistake that made it that way.

So of course I can surely deal with it.

As far as answering my own question,  I reread my post, and I don't think I asked one!!!

I am a JV fan but  am not fanatical.  I am a realist.  I am not gonna come on here and say JV is gonna get a pole this year or anything.    Some of my so called "out there" opinions have actually been proven right.  One of which was Sauber out qualifying a Ferrari.

JPM was better in Silverstone. The fact Raikkonen has been given the point this round, makes me remember why i often don't bother to read this thread.

If I were a Sato fan, as you are, I would not read this thread either. It must be depressing for you to hear that you man has been beaten through and through in just about every measurable sense for nearly the entire season. Reality is such a bore, isn't it?

Perhaps you and your sidekick should author a fantasy race report after each race wherein Sato could dominate while his teammate did incredibly stupid things like stall on the formation lap, play dodge-ems into the first corner and run over his teammate.

Kimi was faster in both qualifying and the race by a significant margin.  It was very similar to Australia 2005 in that just as Fizzy won because Alonso was unfortunate, the Spaniard was clearly quicker, JPM won because Raikkonen was unfortunate enough to have his engine fail on him, the Finn was substantially quicker.  JPM got a lucky victory.

McClaren did not take on JPM to be significantly slower than KR, they already had DC. JPM and KR are very closely matched drivers hence the reason McClaren are paying him upwards of $10m a year.

With the benefit of hindsight, it is clear that JPM was over-rated... However in the middle of 2004, when he was signed, most people thought JPM could compete with the Finn - I did not, of course, and I believe Senna also speculated that Kimi would come out on top. Anyway, your contention that Kimi and Juan are "very closely matched" is perfectly contrary to the facts. The battle between Kimi and Juan is the least competitive in F1 at the moment.

If FM can do better then JV is not doing the best possible in the equipment they have.

Considering two of the last three races JV has outqualified Massa, and his lap times have been very close or better then Massa's I would question that Massa is doing any better. The little errors he has made has cost him big time. Running into the back of Sato in Montreal cost him points. The lollipop incident in Britian didn't cost him points but it gave the race to his partner Massa.

I am disappointed in my favorite driver. He should not be making these mistakes. However as an optimist it is easy to see that if he cleans up his act, he has enough racer left in him to handily beat Massa.

That's right, JV is basically on form with Massa if we put the mistakes aside. Of course, that is putting a lot aside but we shall see if he can improve his concentration.

Hmmm. I read something somewhere about a persons need to belittle those around them. If I remember correctly it indicates a lack of self respect and a feeling of inadequecy. Bringing those around you down is a tool used in an attempt to elevate your own stature. These people need to be identified, as they tend to disrupt the team building process. One on one counciling is recommended.

A little miscommunication on our part. Clearly Massa had the better day in Britian on race day.

Barring the pit incident, JV drove a strong race and made an excellent pass on DC. As a matter of fact the Williams, Red Bull Drivers along with JV had a real battle going on for midfield.

Much more entertaining to watch then the leaders. If F1 could have a battle like that for first place, wouldn't that be entertaining!!!!.
