kindly substanciate!

I have already presented by reasoning in a lucid manner. I could attempt a further explanation but I fear it will be to no avail.

Impressive 60 posts in 8 days mainly filled with utter rubbish.
the fact that you are 13 year old has saved you from a lot on this forum till now. Do not push your luck. Your contribution to the forum is hardly anything to write home about. Watch your tongue, or things might not be so pleasant for you anymore.
Hmmm

you lack perspective on the issue. The only way I can explain it to you is, take the whole of europe, make it into one country and you will not be close to approaching the diversity of India. Imagine if europe was a single country would you see every other country give up their own languages and adopt English for ease of communication?

When your idea of a normal country is a single language monarchy, you will not find too many normal countries in the world. Why don't you give up your monarchy like a normal democratic country?

what thre hell!!!!! i didnt know schumi13!!! was a child . i would never have bothered to reply his post even if my reply was jst 3 words. anyway he is in my "ignore" list now!!!!

Some people here told him he was extremely 'mature', I think that got to his head..

He's incredibly knowledgeable and lucid on F1 matters for his age. I am often impressed with young schumi.

How dare you suggest that the Almighty lacks perspective!?! :o

It is quite simple Cavallino: all Indians should abandon their native langauges in favour of English.

India may well ignore my advice on this matter but the country does so at its own peril.

I do enjoy your posts, you've gotten off to a good start in this forum and must keep up the good work. Schumi is also a valuable rookie though and I appreciate his contribution as well. I am not about to take sides in your quibble because I don't have the foggiest what it is about.

hey bajo...i strongly disagree with that opinion of urs....knowing my mother tongue is something I am proud of....knowing to read, write and speak my mother tongue in no way interferes with my english proficiency...

english still is a "foreign" language as far as I am concerned...even though it is used very widely in India....

However I have no issues over english usage growing in India....just that it need not happen at the cost of our own languages....

Ahhh but it does Narain and that is precisely the point! Whatever time you spent learning your native tongue would have been better spent learning English. Aside from that, it is grossly inefficient for a country to operate on more than one language and so your country is incurring huge costs in this luxury as well.

bajo..I agree with that point u make...however...to me the value of knowing my mother tongue is something that cannot be explained in terms of efficiency and economy. I feel my state would be losing a valuable part of its culture and heritage if our mother tongue is replaced with english.... it cannot be explained in terms of efficiency or economy...it means far more than that to most people back home

bajo a child starts to speak its mothertongue a long time bfore it learns to write..it is a legacy it inherits from its parents and no resources are wasted in that and it would be stupid to abandon our mother tongue for english, for a unicef research states that the process of learning is much faster in a childs mothertongue and schools in non english speaking countries should not give an overdose of english

Senna seems to have smartly ducked out of this thread. He's outnumbered despite the lapdog support offered by Bajo :clap3: .

I shall respond in a lucid, articulate, unambiguous manner.

Here in the UK, I believe that Welsh children learn both Welsh and English. I'm not a huge fan of things Welsh, but do agree that it is important to preserve a cultural heritage, including the language. I disagree most strongly with Bajo, however tongue in cheek the comment was.

BAR don't have number 1 and number 2. Its hard to compare RB's and JB's record cos RB has been in a dominant car for the last 5 or 6 years. I personally think JB will have the upper hand, but hopefully we'll have 2 BAR's consistently at the front

Button is not exactly MS and you saw how close RB could get to MS (and beat him on some weekends). RB is not Sato either - so JB might have a couple of races advantage, but it will be down hill for him after that! My money is on RB eclipsing JB in his first season at BAR No. 2 or not!

I think it's closer than that, but, on reflection, I think I'll take your money.... :naughty:

no he restates opinions given by other people, and rarely has any opinion to offer that is backed up by solid facts. Add to that his 'this thread is pointless, because nothing can change my opinion, why should other be discussing it' attitude.
