Thank you for backing me up J_R. ykickamoocow obviously didnt watch 2004, as he would have seen that ferrari totally dominated. Button didnt have a chance of winning the few races that ferrari didnt win, but that was nothing to do with his driving. DC won races in cars which were dominant

It is to long ago for me to remember exactly what but before Barrichello joined ferrari I do remember him putting in some respectable performances. (Given the equipment, Stewart I think was one)

What will be the result ( Given the extra incentive of being allowed to beat his team mate) if he wipes the floor with Button.

Honda will look pretty stuipid paying all that money for a respectable no 2 driver (I.E. Button)

mate, rubens has had a luxury of being beaten by ms and being in a ferrari! This is why people think hes good becaus ehe occasionally beats MS< dosnt mean hes a great driver and i think its quite clear jense will beat rubens!

But strangly enough Trulli, Montoya, And Kimi all managed to win Grand Prix's last season in cars slower that the 2004 BAR.

No because Button's podiums werent a result of mclarens in front of him breaking down. If Button had Alonso's 2005 luck, he would have won about 6 races in 2004 from ferrari's in front of him breaking down. Have you noticed that in the 2004 races that ferrari didnt win, button was out of the race, except monaco where he was 0.5 sec behind the winner at a track where you can't overtake

for me its Barrichello : hope he gets screwed by BAR and gets outclassed by his teammate so he can shut up about his I can win the championship talk. Then Button can get a teammate who will make him shut up.

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times. Ferrari domination did not stop Trulli, Montoya and Raikkonen winning in the 3rd, 4th and 5th best cars respectively.

oh and nojvnof1 the races in 2004 that ferrari didnt win - you watched them, you saw why button didnt win. He was out of the race, except monaco where he was all over trulli's rear but nowhere to overtake. If we all thought like ykickamoocow, we'd be saying that the 2005 Ferrari is amazing and if it had a good driver in it it would have won a race by now

Why would it contradict that statement? Why? Button drove brilliantly to come through the field. I really don'y understand you, just because he had a great race you think the car he's driving is capable of winning races. Despite the fact that the renault and mclaren are clearly a lot faster. I suppose then you think the toyota and ferrari's are race-winning cars, and williams? They've all had podium finishes too
