PIZZONIA WILL SEE OUT SEASON AT WILLIAMS

Antonio Pizzonia will continue to partner Mark Webber at Williams in the final two grands prix of 2005, the team announced this morning.

Pizzonia has substituted for regular driver Nick Heidfeld in the last three races after the German was concussed in a testing crash at the end of August.

Heidfeld later injured his shoulder in a road accident and is still not fully recovered.

Since he is heading to the new BMW squad next season Heidfeld has therefore driven his last race for his current team.

Pizzonia scored two points in his first race as stand-in for Heidfeld at Monza, but was sidelined by shunts at both Spa and Interlagos.

Considering Pizzonia thought he was going to race this year, Frank may have written it into his contract that at races where either Nick or Webber can't compete he will be the stand in driver.

He didn't expect because else Button would still be there.

Honouring the contract? How do you know its not that the contract between BMW, Williams and Nick next year has a written clause, you don't know the situation at all and think you are a better judge than Frank? Politics are everywhere in F1 and to remind you it is Nick that pulled out of a GP weekend last minute and left Pizzonia to quickly get his arse to the track, so hardly Williams not honouring their side.

You know all the inside info at Williams? No, so stop complaining and bullSh#ting. It was Nick who pulled out of a race weekend last minute with a 'sore' neck and now you just make loads of assumptions. Frank may make some bad decisions, but you know what? All humans make mistakes. And yet again if he is keeping Pizzonia then it may be in his contract as it MAKES SENSE, plus the incident wasn't all Pizzonias fault, some has to be given to DC too.
