There is nothing in the comment about not being allowed to race by Williams, so like I said it is just another assumption and not a fact like we are both doing.

An example: There may be something in his BMW contract that states he won't race.

That sounds pretty logical to me I do not understand why any sort of 'evidence' is needed apart from the above here. You may not change your point of view which everyone can and should respect but arguing to a creditable member who hasn't done anything wrong is not really the right way to do things. I am just saying that it is not a fact, as there are several different reasons why he could not be racing and lets face it - F1 has become a very political sport.

Well I don't mind outside of an argument, but in the middle of one it can feel quite condescending and I will accept that Frank not allowing him to drive is a possibility like I said earlier, however at this stage it is not a fact and yes he deserves the drive more than Pizzonia, but if Pizzonia will be their test driver again next season then it could be of some use to let him drive rather than someone else.

I think I can settle this though. There is a story about this on f1central.net where Nick basically says that he conducted simulator tests, but found out he could only cope with loads of 50%, hence he was deemed unfit, and that's why he cannot race this year!

That is very unlikely Kay, if there was there would be no reason for allowing the rosberg rumour. Nico himself has said he was hoping for the drive but Frank decided against it. It is probably due to his inexperience, though I agree with kss it seems to be a pretty bad decision.

There again we have to go by what we know. If Nick himself comes out and says he failed a fitness test, you just have to accept it. Unless he is under some kind of legal gag order (wild speculation) there is no reason for him to lie on that issue.

Well Frank got loads of cash. Frank came out pretty well from the deal, how embarrassing do you think it would have been for Button to drive for Williams next year and have to take back all his criticism. Button staying with BAR was inevitable, Frank took the best deal he could. He did not do anything very noble.
