I think there are too many formula 1 tracks in Europe. Europe is only a very small area yet they hold a large percentage of the F1 GP's. What about other countries like Fuji and New Zealand. I would also like to see races held in Africa.

Fuji is a tiny, insignificant country... little more than a tourist destination. Diddo New Zealand.

Even South Africa's bid to gain a GP is dubious in my opinion. What we need are more races in Europe and the Americas. Important countries deserve second GP.

fuji isnt a country. every heard of mt. fuji, the track is called fuji cuse its right next to the big rock

i would love to see some tracks that were designed to use physics to creat intresting paters, something like the Esses in sasuka but where the curvs are banked and act almost like those in indi but you have a quick left right left right type of thing where gravity helps you go through it. the only problem would be the gforces might be to high for not having a g-suit

I know where the circuit is located but Ykick was referring to the country Fiji and I responded with the same spelling so as not to confuse him

That is the most dodgy race in the world. The entire thing is fixed so the Americans win. Every time a competitor comes up with a new innovation the organisers of the cup change the rules so it becomes illegal. As for me mis-spelling fiji is was a simple typo.

Im not certain about these days but 23 years ago it happened every year. That is why i know about it, in 1983 Australia won the America's cup against the odds because they didnt give the organisers the chance to change the rules because they didnt tell them about their new innovation. The 1983 America's cup is very famous part of Australia's history.

Ecclestone confident of Spa deal

F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone says he is close to reaching a deal to secure the future of the Belgian GP after the local promoter hit money problems.

Ecclestone told Belgian TV station RTBF he would take over promotion of the 2006 race, and that a deal would be reached at the beginning of next week.

He said "very serious negotiations" were needed to secure the long-term future of one of F1's best circuits.

The promoter ran into trouble after poor ticket sales for this year's GP.

The regional and national government had to lend him 15m euros (
