I Made The Right Move Says Alonso

Recommended Posts

Wish him all the best. :king:

Indeed. I hope he wins 3 WDC's at McLaren in his first three years, and then another three when extends his contract. Add that to the one from last year to that of 2006 (he will get it again) he will become the greatest ever. Might happen, but more likely not. Which is a shame.

A typical Mclaren fan... a shame

Go eat some cheese! :mf_tongue:

They enter, work hard, win everything, and pull out. That's what they do

In the meantime they sell loads of street cars what's wrong with that?

It's the only reason why companies are in F1, they hire really smart and passionate individuals to run their teams

What don't you understand mr. prejudice?

I understand plenty; I understand that the French are indeed fickle; I understand that, according to you, when a manufacturer is having such extensive success off the track due to their popularity and success on the track, then it would be beneficial to have some plan or prospects in the pipeline to capitalise on their financial success and popularity. Kill the body and the head will die. They withdraw? And see what result it will have on them within the public sector.

They've only just broken the surface, so why would you withdraw when you're so far ahead but with so much more to gain? They DO have the right people are holding the right cards and have set a new benchmark, now they have the chance to up the anti, sign on some talent and invest in the future. So what's their problem... Surrender monkeys!

:D for now, :( in 2007 when we have your boy Fernando. :P

Too right!

As Ive said before ill support Fernando where ever he goes so long as there's not a prancing pony on the front of his car.

Im sure Mclaren will be on it come 2007!

No need to worry my one-eyebrow-fetish friends, McLaren are going to produce a rocketship for 2007.

But they have the rocketship now, the KABOOOOM factor is BIIIG!.

:P

If fernando could win with Mclaren will proove that Kimi is not as good as some people thinks.

Not really, cos we know that kimi can win in a mclaren too, so it would just prove that both of them can win in a mclaren.

If you're talking about winning the title, well it really depends on reliability.

Impossible to agree more.

But if Alonso does win the 2007 championship in a Mclaren, chances are it would mean he has 3 world titles under his belt by then compaired to Kimi's 0... So he would undoubtedly be the better driver!

:eusa_think: I expect you and a few other alonso fans would see it that way - but the rest of us neutrals won't!!!

Alonso will know how kimi has been feeling all these years when his car keeps letting him down in 2007. Kimi is probably gona struggle even more in a ferrari that is both unreliable and slow

If Alonso is so sure he made the right move, why does he keep repeating that he did. Personally I'm not so sure he did although it will be interesting to watch what turns out of it. Definately a hero to zero move. Either he becomes a hero for it or he will be a zero for it. We'll be watching.
