What about Scumacher in the confrence? Saying the DNF's were even now (as if it was only fair Alonso have 2 DNF's)... From memory Schumachers 2 DNF's were from him crashing into things (another car, and the pitlane wall) whilst Alonso's were from car problems.

This far into the season and I am still to be convinced that Schumi is anywhere near Alonso in terms of pure driving skills. He knows it and that is why he is retiring. I still challenge you all to find a piece of video evidence where we can see Schumi overtaking Alonso.... IT DOESNT EXIST!!!!!

It is quite clear after having seen Alonso fight his way from 10th on the grid to 3rd with 9 laps to go that he would have won the race if it wasnt for the ridiculous penalty...

And this whole thing about the retirement: PATHETIC. He just wants to generate some simpathy so that they give him a world championship he would never win on the track.

Shumi has met his nemesis and he can take it, therfore, he is heading for the door....

I take back that generalisation, it's wrong. There is a difference between poking fun and a lack of class. Most if not all tifosis here have not denied that Alonso is a good driver and competitor, I would be damned if the other camp would admit the same about Michael..

I'm sorry to say that you are damned. I have ever been an admirer of BOTH drivers. I have slagged BOTH drivers on this forum and have praised BOTH drivers when they deserve it.

Thank you for that. It's much like I don't classify you by your nationality. Some I do, perhaps, but you I do not. I classify you as tifosi. You are, in my estimation, a true tifosi. That is both a compliment and insult, but a tifosi would understand that.
