Very nice. What medium did you use? My only comment would be the star-shaped rims. In my opinon they are too 'spikey' for the flowing lines. Aside from that, well done! What are your artistic aspirations?

I'm very impressed with the work you've done, really good stuff IMO! I've tried drawing all sorts of cars, from sports cars to formula cars, and they're all very difficult... It's a lot of fun playing but it's bloody difficult to produce anything you can show to people. You've done a very professional job though.

Now, as to the car. Choosing a car with an FR-layout as a starting point was a bit disappointing... The rear tyres look too wide. In fact, the wheels at all corners are too big and although it might look slammed it's not very sporting. Maybe make up for the smaller wheels by lowering it to the ground?

As to the back - a rear wing is obligatory. The diffuser is nice but it should extend out behind the car a bit and, again, it should be lower to the ground as from the height you've drawn it, it wouldn't be doing much.

EDIT: on second thought, you need the exhaust exiting out the side of the car infront of the rear-wheels. This would make room for you to extend the rear diffuser outwards a bit further. I think you also need vents behind the rear wheels to exhaust the hot air from the brakes. Finally, how about a more aggresive front diffuser? Something like a Lister with air exhausting through the hood infront of the engine would be cool.

:)

Very Well!!!!!!! congratulations!

I agree with Puma, the car hardly has straight lines, so the rims (wich make me remember the canadian leaf) are insconsistent with the entire design... keep the good work! :clap3:

The old white paper (A3 size) pencil, Kurecolor marker and chalk type crayons. First of all whe started to draw by hand. Next year we will use some computer modeling and rendering programs like Rhino and Photoshop. The rims are a pain in the a##! They took as much time to draw as the rest of the car and despite their contribution to final look I`m reluctant to invest much time on them. Regarding my artistic aspirations...who knows. For me is a hobby and something that was pending untill now. Now we are working on an area project sponsored by VW and maybe it will open some doors.

Choosing a Ferrari is due to override the design issues and concentrate only on styling. Nevertheles Ferari should be elegant machines and avoid many spoilers and wings until now. Proportions are exactly the same of the 575 Maranelo and the many other things you point out are due my drawing skill level. Perspectives are not so good but if you have seen my perspectives prior to the start of the course....

What's wrong with having maple leaf rims?

:)

With different rims I would say your car is close to being good enough for production, I really love it. Its very strange, the back end is very aston martin ish yet the rest is kinda Ferrari style but i love it. Excellent work.

As an artist I can tell you that you have half of what it takes (talent). The other half is a single-minded drive to succeed at it. If you can get that drive, you will go far. No joke.

Thank you very much to all of you. I appreciate your comments and will be inputs for future projects. Nevertheles there were some a little bit exaggerated. I consider my work good only as a first project. I
