I want to go to this race next year, since there is no more Indy for me...

However I'm only going to go if it is a night race, so I don't want to book my airfare or hotel until that is confirmed =(

It defiently sounds like it will be a good race, but i think it's kind of copying champcar/indycar because they do quite a few night races don't they?

NASCAR does the most night races, then IndyCar. Champ Car doesn't do any, but they were the first to ever do a night race on a street circuit. All other night races are on ovals, excluding 24-hour and 12-hour endurance races, which aren't really night races, more day-night.

Yes, i see, i said that because the couple of indy races i've seen is when it's starting to go dark and they need the spot lights on.

It would be a great race track. I was there when Singapore hosted the Olympic venue selection in 2005. Actually spent a couple of years there. They are pretty good at organising things...so this should be a fun event...now overtaking is an entirely different story...
