I must be getting old, I found it a bore. Plus, I unreasonably want a show devoted to motorbikes. Of course, Suzi Perry would host and she would be in leather. C'MON!

Motorbikes?

I don't find it unreasonable, and I don't care who hosts as long as they talk about the Superbikes, MotoGP and stuff like that as well. And everyone would be happy :D

Would you be up for presenting it with Suzi?

You are northamptonshire/buckinghamshire's answer to James May, aren't you?;)

As usual, I watched it. Thought the car falling off Hammond's truck was hilarious.

Top Gear last sunday was brilliant, always is, always has been (in its current format since 2003 anyway).

Make sure all you Brits tune in this sunday 8pm! Their last trip to america was probably the best episode EVER.

The sad truth is that cars are very boring next to bikes. People fear what they don't understand. Jeremy just doesn't understand, that's all. It's probably got him all confused and worried about his job. At least his bitches, May and Hammond and all the sheep like audience will laugh at his hilarious antics. Oh Jeremy, you are so crazy!

 Yeah I've never been amazingly keen on Top Gear. It can be mildly entertaining at times but usually they just all look daft.

Seems I'm one of the only people lowbrow enough to actually like it.

Dribs- Whilst I disagree that bikes are in any way interesting (yes, I said it!), I think it should be noted that Top Gear isn't really much about cars anymore either. It's an entertainment show, and I think it does that rather well.

Last week was mostly about lorries, as you may have seen in the news......

I actually like topgear, somethings do make sense (like Prius vs Bmw m3), but somethings don't for example the private little aircraft vs Veyron was sure a set up. If it was flown by someone who knew how to fly, they could have beat the Bugatti anyday. Its quite funny too. Stig is quite amazing to watch how he drives the cars to the limits. But sometimes I hope people don't really take Jermy's opinions too serious, because in many of his road tests or review he speaks like he does't really know what is coming out of his mouth. Hamond and May have better opinon, but Jermy was the one who made topgear what it is today. Its a bit of comedey too.

I watch Fifth gear too (in youtube ofcourse), the fat guy (I don't really know his name) with a hairstyle that resembles honey bee nest makes the show really boring....probaly a bit too Gay-ish....or he thinks everyone watching are under five.

The races between Tif and the other guy is good though, and I kind of respect that nobody has to be anybody's bitch unlike in topgear, but I somehow like Topgear better.

And Steve, you are right about bikes, nothing (on wheels) can come close to riding, bikes, but to my experience I find horses more thrilling, and nothing can replace the sound of galloping, I used to ride race horses while I was 11-13, but unfortunately, I had a fall and almost lost my life, the school had to ban them. I had to give it up. Then when I turned 15, I used to drive and ride regularly, used to trash my dads cars or my cousins bikes on country roads every weekend, and boy, I tell bikes are better. But I admit, may be I am skilled but I started becoming a danger to myself and public and no matter how I tried to control, I couldnt just ride them slow, with my dad's advice I had to give them up too (he was always against me riding bikes and I had over 4-5 accidents), he told me to drive cars and its really safer! :D

Wow, Abbas. I would give my freedom to ride a horse - no boundaries - just me, the horse and the open country.

But I agree with you and Steve and freaky. I think bikes are awesome. I love cars too. Very different sensations on both vehicles.

Its sad that all good things come to an end. Though my coach did everythin well in his part to make the riding safer, he just forgot to tighten my saddle after a fat bloke :P just brought it back, and thats it, no more horse riding. However to get over my fears, I rented one and galloped one for just one last time. Yeah, the freedom you feel is something special once it starts to gallop, its truly magic, all the boys who used to play football used to pause for few seconds and drop their jaws, the only time in my life I enjoyed the kind of attention otherwise I like to keep a low profile. I will treassure the experience, I may probably never ride one.

The saddest part of it was to watch those two beautiful stallions in my school graze while I was forced to play football (I was in a residential school and it was cumpolsory to play games in the evening, not bad) and one by one died because there was no one to look after them, and they had to be dragged and dumped in a 12ft grave.

Just ignore me. I remember a time when Top Gear presenters talked about the diameter of clutches and whether a car had double wishbone suspension or not. They did this whilst wearing pullovers that they got for christmas and drove in comfortable shoes. Whilst I readily admit that the current format is successful and entertaining, it kind of betrays its roots. I was of course being a little tongue in cheek about cars vs bikes too. Bikes are more thrilling but I will always love cars, no matter what. And yes, looks like our media sensitive little island has got all worked up over Clarkson. What next? Somebody ringing a Spanish waiter, only to find that he's out?

Interesting, Shaliq. Never ridden a horse but I hear it's fantastic. I guess it's a case of horses for courses? Ahem.

:D no Steve, we students were given some options to choose the games we would like to play during evening, football, cricket , basketball, tennis, batmention, tabel tennis etc etc or go horse riding! Horse riding seemed be less crowded and faster ofcourse. But I am never going to ride them again anyways.

I don't like riding horses - it's like driving a car which has it's own brain and sometimes decide for you what should be done. They stink too.

I like bikes but they don't like me back :( so I had a few crashes. Suprisingly while everything was ok while riding bikes from 600 cc to one liter monsters I almost broke my neck on 125 cc sort of dirt bike and the worst crash of my life was on a 50 cc scooter :D

My worst two wheeled crash was on a plain and simple peddle bicycle. I was just doing about 20kph when I hit a stray child. He wasn't watching where he was going. :whistling: Funniest thing though was that his parents kept apologising to me. Poor kid.

Indeed. I find it amusing that all the people who read the Mail and get worked up over Clarkson/Brand/Ross etc and demanding they be sacked are the same people who write letters to the mail complaining about political correctness and that they don't have the right to call somebody a "wog" anymore.

The BBC were so craven. They should have published a letter in the mail telling everybody, "if you don't like it, stop watching TV and f*ck off and read a book".

I see your point but I think you are making too much of a generalisation. I think political correctness has gone a little over board but I do think Ross and Brand were out of order. They forgot the line between decency and comdey. Brand is a sensationalist so such thigs are expected, if not always welcome. But Ross is a 48 year old family man who should know better. He's been approaching the edge for sometime and has stepped over. He shouldn't go in my opinion because he's good despite his ridiculous salary. I hope this gives him a reality check. If it doesn't, then he should go.

I think people have got the whole issue confused anyway. Many younger people are upset about Brand and Ross coming under such fire because they perceive the incident as one where the word 'f*ck' was used. What's the problem with that? Everyone says it these days. But this is to miss the point. Andrew Sachs was severely dissrepected by their behaviour. It was distasteful in the extreme.

Also, the controller of Radio 2 should have stayed, the individual responsible for letting this be aired should be sacked.

You are right though; there are a big bunch of bigots who roam the land bitching about this sort of stuff only to make incredibly stupid racist remarks.
