Ferrari Not A Contender

It's pretty clear everyone ought to be copying Red Bull too. It seems they have great mechanical grip, which paid dividends in the wet. You need Brawn's aero package and Red Bull's suspension etc, if you can find a way to combine them.

Anyone could have the pull-rod suspension....not like that is rocket science and unknown....it was just the tightness of their backend that meant the currently most traditional push-rod linkages could not fit. There is nothing magical in the suspension.

Newey has just designed a very nice car - end of story. It actually looks the part of a Formula car - all the curves in the right places....it just looks right and it is performing....on the flip side, the Renault looks like a pig and drives like one.

Yes, the extra aero grip of a diffuser change or whatever will improve their performance, and one would think that their ultimate pace is BEYOND that of the Brawn (nee Honda).

My money is on RBR to win both titles this year - they have the car, the designer, and perhaps the most complimentary driver line up. But ultimately, it will be Newey and Co that will trump Brawn (as in Ross).

And Flav is right in that Rubens is old - his eyesight is not the same as those around him, and like DC before him, he is the driver most likely to have first lap incidents this year with his restricted periphial vision (which is just age, nothing to do with talent).

And given more qual results like China, Brawn cars will not cake walk it, as Button can not, and never has (to my memory) defended a position successfully.

Yep.

I sure hope so :)

I'd love for it to happen but Brawn wouldn't give up without a good fight. Still, it looks possible and I'm very happy about it ^^

As long as people live they learn.

Agree.

But sometimes it's used like an excuse. I'm not talking about RBR. They should be leading both Championships but I think they'll finish on top sooner or later. They have a couple of good drivers and an amazing car.

Yep.

please validate these denials with url's from appropriate and credible sites, and if you can not, please stop your slander.

Demand proof from everyone or continue to hear my laughter.

Good luck with that.

indeed

are these the same rumors from the 'Diffuser Question' thread or yet another bunch of unsubstansiated crapola maure?

no don't answer - just avoid the question for another 4 pages - go on - it's fun.

EDIT - oh - I see you've already started :)

I dont think you understand the components of a valid/worthwhile argument.

First there is the inital statement. You are good at providing this component.

Next you follow the statement with theory/evidence of your initial statement. This theory/evidence is usually questioned by the audience, then answered by the person issuing the initial statement...this can go back and forth. Usually a conclusion is drawn (which could be a variant of the original statement or deemed incorrect), and the vast majority involved agree with the conclusion. I am making my 4th post, and I can see you appear to be lacking these skills.

So, with regards to the FIA stoning these other teams, can you please put forth information on these issues. I would very much be swayed by information on the size and configuration of these diffusers that were considered legal. Please follow up your initial statement...for if you dont, you can not argue anything else on this specific topic without looking like a card carring member of the d-bag club.

You get a sage nod for that one.
