At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if they find the rockets from the Macca toons on the Red Bull!

And just so everyone knows: I'm one of the Chosen People king.gif .... not looking too promising for tomorrow, but fingers crossed for another stellar drive from "El Maestro", Hamilton was on another blinder ... if he's like that tomorrow (oops! just saw the time ... today) he'll lap most of the field

Another wasted year for Rosberg. Hopefully he can break his 7-7-7 Streak and keep 6th this year =P I doubt Mercedes can pull themselves up to the Lotus\Ferrari\RedBull\McLaren Level. Heck, they're behind Williams, and potentially even Sauber and Force India now.

Excellent win from Lewis. If he & Macca keep this up, shouldn't take more than 3-4 races to shoot into the WDC lead.

Fantastic drive by Kimi. If he hadn't made the mistake in quali, he could very well have won.

Grosjean had a good day in office, though he'll be upset to have missed out on 2nd.

Strange strategy of 3-pits by RBR.

Alonso did a good job of damage limitation. Button's slow pitstop helped him.

Pleasant to see Senna in the top 10, ahead of an RBR.

Great show from Kimi. Lewis did everyhing right. Noticed how he didn't lock a wheel during the last stint? That's when being flawless pays off.

Great job from Grosjean, although he deserved to finish behind Kimi on racecraft alone, he will still feel hurt over that harsh (but legal) move from Kimi on him. The most experienced guy won, and Romain should not feel bad for yet another podium!

Special mention for Senna.

Massa seems like an almost professional driver now...a little bit too late, I'm afraid.

A good strategy race, unfortunately not that much action on the track though. Still, intriguing enough to make it interesting - a good way to end before the summer break.

Was hoping for a Grosjean win today, but he'll get there soon.

Alonso still in a great position in the championship - the others have a lot of catching up to do in the second half.

Quite a boring event from a racing point of view (predictably), but as a Kimi fan, it was great to see him pull those blistering laps before his second pitstop. His move on Romain reminded me a bit of Alonso pushing Massa out his way in one of his first races with Ferrari (at the pit entry), exerting authority over the team mate.

I guess Schumacher is a quitter and not a real racing driver since he retired because he didn't have a chance to win. tongue.png

Me being a jack*** aside, I enjoyed the race. I only saw about three overtakes (and one, Maldonado's, didn't count) but I enjoyed the strategies immensely. Really enjoyable and so much suspense at the end with Räikönen. They're close. I liked it a lot.

Grosjean...buddy...keep the car on the track. Twice during his pursuit of Hamilton in the middle section of the race he'd get within seven or eight tenths and then he'd make a big driver error and fall back to 2.4 back the first time and 1.3 back the second time he screwed up. It definitely cost him second place, losing all that time for his own mistakes (and, to be fair, the 4.9 pit stop), and I'd say his shot to win. Had Grosjean not lost about 2.1 seconds total from his own errors in his second stint, he would have been in a whole different situation for the race, and that may have meant the top step. He's a lot better, he's exceeded all expectations, but you really see the difference between the best and the "almost." Too many careless mistakes from Grosjean. He'll need to continue his progress to eliminate those from his game if he wants to finally put one in the bag.

Maldonado, I say it every week, reputation matters. You get no benefit of the doubt from the stewards when they know you're name. Meanwhile, Bruno Senna has a nice outing and takes some valuable points, something Maldonado refuses to do.

Massa got a really awful start today, which is a surprise because he's normally good at starts (good as in quick to launch, not good as in quick to hit things like Vergne in Hockenheim), but at least he got something for it.

Very interesting final 9 races we have coming up, and I hate having to wait for it. Looks like I'll be tuning into some sports cars and perhaps NASCAR when they run the road courses this year.

Good stuff all around, as usual. Not much overtaking, but plenty of potential for a big moment, and that to me was exciting enough. I did not expect Grosjean to go soft-soft-medium and I did not expect Hamilton to get any kind of contest, which he did get from both Lotus guys.

Contest? What contest? Hamilton OBVIOUSLY has the best car from the grid. Ever. Always had and always will. He just wanted to give a little more excitement to the race, and make him look better by letting those poor deluded guys at Team Poochie believe they could catch him. Ha ha ha! What a laugh the McLaren team had! "Hey guys....look at this...yeah, Kimi...come and catch me....there...you got me...NOT! Ha ha ha! Oh, I crack myself up!"

(Was my turn at being a jackass) :P
