Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 1, 2012 I'd forgotten about that, but I think it was the second time this season (the other being the marshals collecting debris without a safety car in Valencia(?)) that seemed really dangerous yet nobody commented on (nobody in this case being news sites and commentators at the time). Yup. Again, I am not calling for a punishment. But it woud have been nice that the stewards at least said "we looked into it and found it it was a freak coincidence of factors which we don't think will ever happen again. Anyways, we will issue recomendations to drivers/marshalls as to prevent future ocurrences of the same" So as to make us think that they are really looking into safety concerns...I'm just saying... maure 1 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 F1's back this weekend. I hope you guys enjoyed the summer break and put those extra free hours to good use. I can't say I did either of those but it wasn't as agonizing as I figured it would be. There's a lot of cliché and hyperbole to be said about Spa-Francorchamps, which is a good track that doesn't have anything on La Sarthe or the big Nürburgring but does hold the honor of being one of the few race tracks commonly called "the world's greatest" by people who are not American racing promoters. So I'll say this: Glad to have F1 back. What are we expecting for this one? It's a good video.
Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Postcard from the pre race: Kimi dribbling journalists while walking down the track Lewis "Twittergate" grows as Hammy published now telemetry data on his twitter account. I'd say the cold war that has been silently developing between the team and LH has reached a new level. Clearly there's no love between Macca and Lewis. This goes beyond normal business negotiations....but that's a matter to discuss in a different thread.
AleHop 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2012
It's a good video.
Good to see you around with Mr. Burns again. It look's we'll watch a fantastic race. There're different configurations on the cars, some quicker on S1 and S3, others faster on S2. I expect it's better to have more top speed if you have to pass some cars but what will happen with the tires? Nobody really knows a thing about the tire degradation today. BTW, Hamilton posted a pic of his telemetry sheet on twitter!!! It was very soon then removed of course.

Ikyrotz 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 I think someone should have a talk with Grosjean, looked like he was being way too aggressive at the start. He simply can't go on like this, it's getting dangerous.
Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Maldonado jumped the start yes. Romain managed to ruin Alonsos run of point finishes, give a heavy blow to his title chances and almost behead him. All that because of their times at Renault? How bitter can a man be? (Just kidding)
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Maldonado has to be thrown out.

LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 It's not the first time Grosjean does a stupid thin like that. Glad it wasn't Maldonado. Yep. There seems to be a competition between the two. Strange they haven't collided with each other yet. Or have they?
Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Something tells me that even if the RBR don't crash against each other in the race, one of them will leave the race feeling extremely unhappy. With no Alonso in sight and no love as of today for Roamin it's...GO KIMI GO!!!! Massa of no help as usual. Schumi having a great opportunity here. Button so far cruising and saving tires. LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Vettel's move on Senna seemed a bit iffy to me. He turned his car in to bully Senna. No fair?

Quiet One 15 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Alonso didn't seem too unhappy but I think it is because he got the chance to return faster to that chair in the pits. He sems to love it! Vettel is a man on a mission out there, damned be his soul. Still he shows more ambition in this opportunity window than Webber or Massa. Come on Kimi!!!! LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 Wow, Schumi & Vettel nearly collided. The old bugger didn't yield even when diving into the pits.
