First Corner At Nurburgring

Recommended Posts

Any takes on who will take the lead and who will follow by the first corner. I guess the order will be as follows:

1. Kimi ( Mclaren's speed off the line are better than Williams)

2. Nick ( will close all doors on Alonso and JPM)

3. Alonso or Juan ( Renaults are pretty qucik, and JPM starting from the cleanside)

5. Trulli ( Will loose out on Alonso & JPM 'cause they are quicker)

6. Webber ( Trulli being his nemesis)

What do you guys think.

Yes..maybe...I do hope Ferraris start out bad so they'll slip behind slower cars in the first half of the race, like in Spain or Monaco...

Indeed but is highly unlikely that Mark Webber will capitalise on this! Renault should be strong once again at the start and Williams probably won

Indeed and if the Williams drivers fluff the start and loose a few positions, their chance of victory is almost completely gone because Raikkonen is surely carrying more fuel and will be able to keep the others behind him.  Having said that, even if the Williams drivers make good starts (a big if in Mr. Webber

Raikkonen might be able to overtake Nick into the Castrol-S corner at the start if he gets a good getaway, if so, Raikkonen will surely have an easy victory.  I suspect that Alonso will get a good start, even though he is on the dirty side of the track, and this could be improved if Webber gets a poor start and holds JPM up.  Fizzy is in the other fast-starting Renault and even though he

i don't think the renault's will get away as cleanly as everyone thinks, as they appear to be fuelled up. i think webber will have to get a decent start for once, the odds are that he won't stuff it up, again.

i just hope teh 2 williams can at least hold their positions, and i'm praying that trulli doesn't get in front of webber again! trulli has a habit of ruinning mark's races this year...

i think it'll be NH, then kimi, Webber, JPM or alonso into first corner

with kimi overtaking NH some laps later (probably 10 laps before first pitstop

and then build up his lead again

i'm hoping JPM doesn't get hold up by webber

he needs a good GP

News flash, Ferrari 7th and 10th, not 1st and 2nd.....

Indeed. Several people said that Michael would win the race! I said the best he could hope for was a good points finish, that would mean around 4th, and he actually finished 5th. I also predicted that Raikkonen would jump Heidfeld at the start and he did and that Raikkonen would win the race, and he should have
