Ralf Schumacher - The Worst Driver Ever??!!

In my humble opinion - Ralf Schumacher is a terrible driver and has been held accountable for most of the accidents that have taken place in the last two years.. so who is your worst current driver...??? and we don't want smart arses saying well he must be alright if he's in F1.. Do you hold a superlience etc etc or some random name from 1968 who only raced one GP.... I know Sata gets a lot of flack but I don't think he's that bad - as least hes got balls!!!

(For those that are interested - I have put 250gbp on KIMI TO WIN every year for the last three and my fingers are still tightly crossed!!

I think michelle might have meant for the last 3 years not races!! I agree too that Ralf is overrated but I think the grid has a lot who are. My fingers are crossed for Kimi too but I am somewhat pessimistic unless the renault suffers some DNFs.

Ralf is certainly over-rated but he is hardly the worst driver in F1 at the moment and not even close to being the worst of all time.  The forum considers Narain Karthikeyan to be the worst driver in F1 at the moment and Tiago Montiero, his teammate, second worst.

I don't think you have done enough research, there are five races remaining this season not three.

Ralf is getting too much flak because of his salary (justifiably), and his name (unjustifiably). he is definitely a middle of the road driver on normal days who should be comfortably sitting in a middle of the road team getting middle of the road finished sometimes scoring points. However he is capable of some extraordinary sparks, maybe a potential that could bring him near the top if he could ever full exploit it.

Ralf is nowhere near being the worst driver in f1. Dont forget he outperformed the might montoya on many many occasions at williams, upstaged Damon Hill a fair few times in 1998, destroyed Zanardi in 99, and was a good match for Fisi in 97. Its only this year that he's had a team-mate who has put him in the shadow, and I personally rate Trulli very highly, after 2004 where for most of his time at renault he was faster than alonso in quali and races. Ralf is able to dominate races when he's in the right mindset. But I think he cant put in those performances every race, which is what is needed if he wants to be champion. He's got a good quali slot for tomorrow so he could be right up there this weekend

RS is by achievements (Points, Wins) far better than JT, GF, JB, etc.

i just have no clue how it is possible if (JT, GF, JB, etc) they have much more talent than RS, but cannot have equal Points and Wins.

Emotionaly, AS has much more fans than AP, but by achievements they are very very near.

And nearly same with JPM and RS in Williams.

Difference is AP has a bit more achievements, and RS a bit less than JPM.
