I think BAR should beat Williams who should beat BMW. Although I hope BMW beats both if JV is there. As for DC, I think he's got a wicked (as in very good) sense of humour. He did an interview on a chat show here a couple of years ago and I was in tears laughing so hard at some of his jokes.

"I see you have taken your soma today rolleyes.gif"

er, bajo, can you illustrate "soma"

I don't think I can illustrate it for you but I will try to explain:

Soma was the name of a mass-produced drug used in Aldous Huxley's novel Brave New World (1932). In the novel, soma is an 'opium of the people' that replaces religion and alcohol in a peaceful, but morally controversial, high-tech society far in the future. Soma, a combination of morphia and cocaine in tablet form, is regularly taken by all members of society in order to produce feelings of euphoric happiness.

Huxley's soma was taken by the anti-psychiatry movement in the 1960s as a model for their claim that anti-depressants and other drugs functioned to emotionally control people whose distress and mental illness arose from the oppressive nature of modern society. I use the term in the same way to describe those who are mindlessly happy, like Monty, under the new regime.
