Dennis: Alonso Still To Prove Himself

"I think there is a category of driver that comes from South America, Italy or Spain that doesn't have the discipline required to win the World Championship,"

How can he make such a semi-racist comment?! :eusa_think:

Why is that semi-racist? The quotee is not suggesting that ALL latins lack the discipline to win the WDC...

Oh come on this is clearly yet another complete misinterpretation. With a south american driving for him, and having won titles with senna, RD isnt really going to say something like that

i dunno who said what and when =)

but i think than ANY driver is "still to prove himself",

even 1-time WDC - for me is like a "just a champion"

but 2-times WDC - is "real one" as he defends his title.

Just as example, for me MH is better than DH. Why ?

one of the points for Hakkinen, not Hill, is MH defended title in `99.

Ron Dennis is just a poor loser, and a fool as well. He has no one to blame but himself and his team. So instead of looking for excuses, they should focus in giving their drivers a reliable car for next year, otherwise they can kiss KR good bye.

One thing though, how can he criticise South Americans when theres 1 in his team thats doing a damn good job at the moment?

The one in his team is doing a terrible job and I am sure RD wishes he had held onto DC for this year and beyond. Not only that but RD has every right to be upset with the hot-headedness displayed by his latin driver for that has cost the team heavily this season.

Well I thought for once on Sunday Ron seemed to be congratulating Renault and suggesting they deserved it, obviously he can't go long without a moan though. Alonso deserved that WDC and no one should be taking credit away from that!

Indeed, Alonso made but one mistake this season, in Canada, while the McLaren drivers made inumerable mistakes (most of them Montoya's of course).

Well this weekend Kimi made his own mistakes, fortunately for him he was able to change his tyre, although I find that quite a strange rule in itself, along with how the engine rule is going to work when some drivers only need it to last one race. <_<
