He is certainly fit in some ways - his neck muscles must be impressive but do you not think he looks a bit less slim than other athletes, especially back in his williams days?

Thats just dumb. Felipe Massa too has a 'fat' face, still he is fit as anyone. JPM might have improved his fitness from Williams, but he sure was not unfit when at Grove either.

It was nothing wrong with his endurance, he needed to lose some of the baby fat so to ensure he would sqeeze into the ultra slim c#ckpit of the MP4-20. Besides, he only lost 3-4 kilos.
