Ecclestone: Accidents Should Not Be In Formula 1

Recommended Posts

well, Japan 05, spa 05, malaysia (02? where he crashed into teamate), monaco is his fault as well as BAR's! 'ring 04 to name but a few!

japan spa and malaysia are the 3 examples I gave and accepted - monaco 04 isnt an example of reckless driving and BAR instructed sato to keep going - NOT an example. senna says sato has caused 'innumerable incidents'. 'murray walker' went so far as to state '28 incidents in 51 starts' - bollocks. no-one's given me a decent answer yet and it saddens me Ben that you side with senna in this absolutely ridiculous biased-ness against sato (and super aguri)!

Bollocks indeed. What saddens me is that you are only interested in scoring points in an irrelevant issue. As Ben correctly said

sato is a menace, 'nuff said! He shouldn't be in F1 and thats the end of it!

Well it should be the end of it.

Scoring points? i don't actually know what you mean by that, I'm not asking much - I just want you, Ben or senna to back up this rubbish which you all keep spouting. Just saying "sato shouldnt be in f1" is hardly convincing and it appears clear to me that none of you can actually give me an answer. So lets stop with the "sato has caused 28 incidents" nonsense bcoz its simply not true

You are right Jems, Sato should continue in F1...I love the BASHING! :P

I dont really care whether sato continues in f1 or not! I just wanted an explanation. But looks like I'm not going to get one so I'll leave it

Jem, don't give up! Keep biting their ankles. I just like to see how many different ways they can avoid answering your question!

The silly thing is senna keeps saying "I've already posted them, so I won't again" but all I'm asking for is a simple list. Surely that wouldnt take much of senna's valuable time? And I want murray walker to provide a list of these so-called 28 incidents in 51 starts. Either they do this or in future think before making such outrageously idiotic comments

I remember an extremely dubious website mentioning that figure, I am not sure they called it incidents or mistakes or what.

getting a figure from a dubious news report, not unlike him is that

These guys also think that sato and super aguri are going to kill everyone next year with their kamikaze driving - I leave you to make your own minds up about how sane they are

You will learn in time never to combine those 4 words unless they sandwich a negative. I tried to point this out before but it was obviously too subtle for most of the forum's members. I did not post such a statement and as such see no need to defend it. Regarding Senna's "valuable time", it surely wouldn't take long for you to search for pictures of Sato, if you really wanted to know, that is.

See above but notice you have done exactly what you falsely accused me of doing, namely trusting an unreliable and dubious source of information.

He's posted them on numerous occasions, I don't see the harm in posting them one more time to answer your questions. I mean, when it was used to prove their point, they never stopped posting the examples, pictures etc, but to answer your question everything has become hesitant...

thats because he posted pictures of incidents that werent actually sato's fault. Its sad that some members such as Ben were convinced by the rubbish senna was posting on here regarding sato.

I can only think of 3 incidents that sato has caused. DO NOT USE MONACO 2004 as this is not a result of sato's driving

3? :lol::lol::lol:

Aside from his crashes, he is also inept. Bajo makes some good points:

"Just to recap Takuma's illustrious career, let us remember his most famous moments:

1.Stalling his car on the formation lap of the 2005 British GP by pressing the wrong button on his steering wheel.

2.Crashing and destroying a virtually priceless Lotus in the 2002 Monaco Historic GP and earning himself a trip to hospital. This of course was preceded by a crash in practice and followed up with yet another crash, in the Formula 1 GP.

3.Running over the back of his teammate in the 2002 Malaysian GP.

4.Losing control of his car on lap 23 of the 2002 Monaco GP and nearly taking out the very teammate he was pulling over to let through in a brutal crash.

5.There is nothing remarkable about Sato blowing an engine early in a race but his performance at the 2004 Monaco GP has always stuck out in my mind as being worthy of particular criticism. After jumping the start and nearly causing a pileup at the first corner while coming together with Schumacher, Sato went on to cause one of the most fearsome incidents in recent F1 history by driving a lap with an engine billowing smoke and oil on the narrow Armco-lined track and laying down a blinding smokescreen for his fellow drivers to contend with".

A couple of incidents have been posted twice (different camera angles) but, clearly, Sato has caused more than 3 accidents.

Amazingly, there are incidents that I failed to find a picture for e.g. Europe 04 where Sato simply didn

Thanks for finally replying senna but you have really lost all credibility in my mind now. You posted pics of bahrain 04 - as we all know, not sato's fault at all. You also used monaco 04 - nothing to do with sato's driving. The rest of your pics, aside from the 3 incidents that I admitted, are of sato going off the track, something all drivers do. I hope now senna you can admit that saying sato 'has caused innumberable incidents' was a mistake and that the rest of the members see that when it comes to takuma sato, you are on a different planet

Considering that Takuma Sato has only contested 52 Grand Prix, that is an abysmal record.

So that means he is the absolute WC in accidents.
