cavallino 2 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Seamless shift gearboxes are banned, the rules state there has to be a shifting gap. The seamless shift gearbox is really a bit of a cop out, as it is technically not seamless. The trick is to make the shifting quicker. Exactly There is still a gap, however bajo they have 6/7 ratios, they are not infinitely variable like CVTs. They are commonly referred to as seamless gearboxes though, if you do a quick google search of <team name> seamless gearbox you'll see.
