He has teamed up with a statistician and evey now and again he as columns about all sort of stats. I personally think that Football/Soccer players dont have very good stamina if they get tired from their current work load. In Australian Rules Football (AFL) a average player runs about 13km per match and each season can have up too 30 matches. If the AFL players can work that hard for a fraction of the money Football players are getting paid then im sure Football players can aswell if they put their minds too it. A team will play 38 matches a season if theyre a really bad team. If they are a good team it can be upwards of 60 matches per season. That, added with training makes football one of the most physically challenging sports in the world, apart from F1 drivers, football players are about the fittest sportsmen going. In fact international football itself is threatened by the clubs who want to be compensated for the time their players are away playing international football. It already happens in the African Cup of Nations for example, top club players aren ot allowed/ choosen ot to go to play for their countries. If the clubs are successful in their quest, it will be the end of the football world cup as we know it. It is quite a despicable situation, all driven by the brazen commercialization of the sport Club managers should not have a say in it, i think it should be down to whether the players want to play for their countries or not. No not really as i know you are a Ferrari fan so i already know you have terrible judgement. Being a ferrari fan is not enough to constitute bad judgement some people are genuine fans, and some have genuine reasons to support them. The only bad judgement is from the ferrari fans that say disrespectful things about the other drivers. Sounds like a paln. Not at all, especially if we can get a run of form going. The operative word being if! I am looking forward to the game at Anfield, though, as I have always wanted to see Ronaldhino 'live' as it were. I have to be honest, I still think we have a better squad than the last few years and I do think squad rotation will really pay off in the last few months of the season, especially if we can get a run of wins going, like last year. Im just grad that Australia is out of Oceania as that confederation only gets .5 of a world cup spot so that means that we were always forced into a playoff with another nation (usally Uruguay) and the winner gets to go to the world cup. Now we are in the Asian Confederation we are vertually assured a World Cup position. This tournament really gives Australia a good chance to be recognised as a good team by other nations and i really want to see our ranking of 39 move to a more respectable number as i feel Australia is closer to the 25 mark in world rankings.
