If you had a pic of DC doing that face, it would be believable. As it is, it just looks like some strange imposter with constipation!! :D

After the game i was still in my death to all italian's phase but after about a day it was only death to the Italian Football team. Its not the Italian pubics fault that their football team is full of cheaters.

Name one because i cant think of any :eusa_think:

You expect me to remember all the diving from the World Cup?? Geez, ykick, you don't ask for much do you?

Anyway, I said name me a football team that aren't cheaters, or indeed contain cheaters. With regards to Australia, I have never seen Viduka go a game without diving, unless he's not playing. Kewell, and don't forget he plays for my team, is not averse to going down a tad too easy. They're just the first ones I thought of.

Maybe so but i have never seen either Kewell or Viduka dive while playing for Australia.

I have definitely seen both of them diving for Australia. Don't remember any from this World Cup, particulalry, but there's that much these days that I see it as normal, so examples don't jump out at me anymore.

Every team does it ykick, whether it be club, national or whatever, it's just that you don't see it quite the same of players that you are supporting.

The Australians did their fair share of diving, vicious tackling in the world cup and got their fair share of fortunate decisions. And the penalty was fair. And the red card wasn't really.

Not sure of what you're trying to say, ykick. It's not like Australia are devoid of any decent players. Add to that, that the best teams on paper don't always make the best team in reality - the beauty of football.

Yep, you can dominate matches, you can scream & shout about your luck or lack of, but at the end of the day you have to score more than the other team to win - again the beauty/frustations of football!! :lol:

Im just saying that on paper the Australian team isnt that strong and our Football history is pitiful at best but for some reason 2006 has been a very good year for Australia.

They have had a good year, for sure, but there is a nucleus of decent players in there. Certainly something they can build on.

In all due respect though you have played only 3 good teams in that list, loosing 2 games and drawing the other.... Still Not a bad year though compared to past ones I guess.

According to the current Australian coach the new generation (between 16 - 25) is going to be Australia's "Golden Generation" which sounds promising.

:thbup::lol:

Say what you will but the Socceroos have had a good year and i believe we could make a contest of it. Using Croatia as a benchmark Australia had a draw against them in the World Cup but they beat England recently.
