DFV all the way! Does it have the record for most wins? If not then which engine does?

If I can remember correct, I would say the engine which supplied the FW14B of 1992's champ Mansell which was the Renault RS4 V10 as the greatest engine in my opinion.

Excellent candidate for second place!!!!!!

Yup, the DFV has a record of 155 GP wins, a number so massive that it will NEVER be equalled again.
"Schumacher has said he does not want to do anything bad or for anything bad to happen in this race, so I just hope that is what happens for his sake - but this shows how far Ferrari are prepared to go to help Michael win this Championship."

JV - Oct 25, 1997 - after Saturday Practice in the final round of the 1997 championship at Jerez, Spain. The next day would prove just how far Schumi was willing to go...................

What, in your opinion, is the greatest engine to ever hit F1? I'd say the recent Ferraris, as in 2001 onwards due to reliability, though the Hondas in the late 1980 and early 1990s were good, as well as the Renaults in the mid 1990s.

Hi I´m a newbee!
Cosworth DFV has best F1 record but it had only a true contender: Ferrari´s 12 boxer. There were also great engines that ruled, as you people quoted: earlys '80 TAG Porsche, mid '80 Honda, early '90 Renault, and so on. But due to the quantity and quality of contenders (never in F1 history were so many top class engines suppliers like today!) 2000-2004 Ferraris are the very best of all time. Ferrari engines beated Renault, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Honda, etc. all at the same time! Very impressive!!

“We keep on working, we do our thing,” Vettel shouts over the team radio, “We are who we are!”

"Vettel is a champion. That’s not referring to his achievements, but rather to his approach to everything he does. He wins. All the time. His preparation is meticulous, his attention to detail reminiscent of Michael Schumacher at his peak, and his performance on the track is almost always flawless. Vettel is capable only of domination. He knows no other way... Vettel is not in Formula One to be liked. He is there to win. And in the words of Ayrton Senna, perhaps the greatest of all Formula One drivers, “Nice men don’t win.”"

BMW's inline-4 1.5 litre turbo reaching 1500bhp for qualifying?

I don't really like turbo's and supercharger's so i'd have to say Renault RS25 "Shanghai Special"
