JHS 1 Report post Posted May 28, 2011 Very happy to hear that Sergio is fine. That was a scary accident. I really rate the guy as I've said here before, I think he could be one to watch for the future. Hearing reports he may even race tomorrow, but I guess that'll depend on whether Sauber can get the car ready. We'll see.

I heard he suffered a concussion => I doubt he is given a permission to drive tomorrow.
JHS 1 Report post Posted May 28, 2011 Yeah, I saw a post on Sauber's FB page a while ago saying he might race, but now it has been declared that he won't. Which is a shame, seeing as he'd been driving so well - he'd certainly put Kobayashi to shame this weekend. It's evident that he wants to race (apparently he watched the GP2 race from hospital) but the doctors are saying no.
HandyNZL 1 Report post Posted May 28, 2011 Oh look someone had to shut up didn't they after mouthing off crap again And they were o nthe same tyres for their fastest laps in Q1, pleaqse don't make stuff up thank you. Actually, Rosberg set his time on these tyres that had yellow writing, and Schumi set his on tyres that had red. Perhaps not only do you sit too close to your TV but you are colour blind too. And Rosberg never had a fast lap in Q3. Please go out and buy a colour TV.

No they set their fastest times on exactly the same tyres. And Rosberg didn't have a fast lap in Q3, he had slow ones. http://www.fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre/f1_media/Documents/mco-qualifying-times.pdf But then we shouldn't let blind hatred get clouded by facts should we Schumacher was awful, we all saw him get bitch slapped by Rosberg today woohoo :D He should have retired yesterday, how pathetic is he. Insider 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 Well, it's great that Perez is OK and I'd like to take my hat off to the Monaco marshals for the efficient way they go about their business. Perez is the best rookie I have seen in the past twenty odd years. Ferrari would do well to get him on board asap. It all turned out well for Vettel, though it took him some time to post a good lap. Jenson looks in great form though he's on the dirty side of row one and Hamilton is chomping like a pit bull. It's a beautiful morning here and I'm just enjoying a sunny breakfast in the roof restaurant at the Fairmont. This is my only real break of the year so don't hate me for it! Full report and latest gossip tomorrow.

yurp 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 Rosberg thumped Schumi in that qually session....even on super softs to Nico's soft's, he couldn't beat him...and they're worth a second a lap....when are some people going to see that Rosberg is just faster than Schumi and no matter how much hoping and number of excuses is going to change that? Q2 coming up.... Q1 flying laps in cronological order... Schumi on soft tyres: 1:16.910 Rosberg on soft tyres: 1:15.858 Schumi on super softs: 1:16.092 Rosberg on super softs: 1:15.283 Oh look someone had to shut up didn't they after mouthing off crap again And they were on the same tyres for their fastest laps in Q1, pleaqse don't make stuff up thank you. The BBC commentators got it wrong, however: http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2011/05/vettel-on-pole-for-monaco-grand-prix-as-perez-crashes-heavily/ " Meanwhile the two Renaults and the two Mercedes drivers used a set of supersoft tyres to get through to Q2." Nico did NOT do a 15.283 in Q1, I have no idea where you pulled that out of: http://www.formula1.com/results/season/2011/855/6853/ Much as I admire the fact that you will stand up for your internet buddy for anything, it's a bit pathetic to insist black is white just because your internet BFF said so. Do you lot even think before rushing to defend your friend? And seriously, you can make all the jokes you want if I bring up the existence of a clique, but you rushed here to support your buddy by posting something that is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONG. Something is damn wrong with this forum if people are more interested in sticking up for their virtual buddies than in actually discussing F1 based on facts. Even better - Rosberg's Q1 time was indeed the 1:15.858 he set on soft tyres. I just watched Q1 again. I can send you the torrent link if you want - then you can download it and watch it yourself. Both Mercs did laps on softs and super softs. Schumi's time on super softs was worse than Rosberg's on softs. Rosberg did the 15.283 Q2 - which means all that rot you were talking about both mercs doing their fastest Q1 laps on super softs was even more complete bollocks than I first thought! So - to recap... Schumi's super soft flyer was SLOWER than Rosbergs first flyer on soft tyres. That's what handy said. That's what I said. That's what happened. Furthermore, your claim that both their fastest Q1 times were set on supersofts was also bollocks. Would you like to make anything else up? What's that Cav? Yes - you're wrong aren't you. Yes. Wrong. Catagorically 100% bona fide wrong. Hahaha - if you weren't such an easy wind up we'd stop picking on you you know. PS - I see Schumi just got himself back in his comfortable spot behind Rosberg on lap 1 of the GP too - things back to normal eh.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 Will Jenson win? I hope he does, if at least for the sake of injecting some artificial excitement in the WDC chase. Shocking pit for Webber. It's odd to see him get such an extended run of bad luck. Bad start for Schumi. Apparently graining tires cost him. But now he's cutting down the gap on Rosie. Fingers crossed. Pleasant surprise to see Maldonado up there. Hope he finishes high. Podium seems difficult for Hamilton today.

yurp 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2011 If team poochie & Petrov don't screw this up they could be on for forth or fifth place. They should pit around lap 30 for hard tyres then get back onto super softs as soon as they think they can last to the end on them.
