Prediction For Next Year's Wcc

Recommended Posts

Its a culmination of factors that enabled both the drivers to beat their new teammates. Whether it's PU failure, personal reasons, circumstancers that conspire againts you or just plain bad luck...they got beaten... What we apply to one we have to do to the other

Or...

Kvyat who beat Dan who beat a 4x champ must then be a demi-god

No you don't, you have to take into account issues they suffer and such as points don't always tell the true story. Ricciardo had more issues than Kvyat did but when both had trouble free races Ricciardo was always faster and would score the bulk of the points. Ricciardo beat Seb across all areas of comparison in 2014 so you can't even compare those two situations, but the Kvyat/Ricciardo debate doesn't even exsist if you know what your talking about. It's like you can't even compare button and alonso last year as they suffered so many issues, it was just luck as

To who finished where. Do you know what I mean?

Kvyat personally looked to me the better driver from mid-year onwards when he found his feet at RBR, and his racecraft really improved. I think he's very fast and he'll only get better and better this year...mentally also, which might be to Dan's detriment. So i think he deserves to be ahead in points, my personal view

I respect your opinion, even though I think it's incorrect but I still respect your opinion.

My General Predictions for 2016 :

- McLaren will not improve. Similar championship points or less.

- HAAS Team will have few surprises including top 6 finish and will beat Mclaren overall

- Alonso will leave Mclaren before the end of season

- Jenson Button will have a big crash and may skip few races

- Nico will beat Lewis on overall points

- Force India will perform badly - much less points than their 2015 results

- Massa will beat Bottas overall points

- Kimi will retire at the end of season

- Toro Rosso will beat Force India

I don't think haas will beat mclaren, I see mclaren scoring regular points and the odd podium. Alonso has already laughed of those rumors about him leaving mid season. The force India looked mega quick in testing as they ended up second fastest and they didn't even run the ultra soft tyre like everyone else. I personally believe we're in for a cracker of a season.

Radical one, only the kimi retirement is more likely than any of your other predictions. That too will happen if kimI performs very badly. Who will sack him if he finds form and get close to vettel?

His stock will go down as Kvyat will beat him again

Don't get confused with raikkonen as that's what your used to, if you think kvyat beat Ricciardo on merit then I've got the wrong impression on your f1 knowledge.

You even put your support of a local boy aside to proove your point on raikkonen. That's a shame. Typical bandwagon rider arnt you? I've figured it seems most here actually have very little knowledge or just use a biased approach towards anyone who isn't kimi. I suppose, it's all he has been able to do for you guys lately hey?

I vote Vettel, if the Ferrari is good enough. Rosberg might have got something up his sleeve too and might be able to fight more with Hamilton this year, at least I surely hope so anyway.

I just want a better season of races this year than last year, is that too much to ask for?

2016 WCC?

It would be heroic feat to name some other team than Mercedes, but perhaps we should wait several races until dust will settle. WDC probably the same. Mercedes used to be hard on tires, although they are now deploying new methodology how to monitor tire performance. Whether such data acquisition will help them to run clean strategy remains to be seen. Second factor which could play a role whether someone else sneaks in on sidelines, IMO, will depends on level of infighting between Rosberg and Hamilton. I think Rosberg will be trying to get civil and perhaps secure new contract, but his teammate might push and push, until there will be blow up. It's not way I want to see Vettel or anyone else win WDC, but I would take it.

Mercedes have overcome the tyre issues due to that "secret test" or filming day of you will. Funny that, on paper though we're looking at a very competitive season IMO but most of the time it doesn't turn out that way, well in recent years anyway. F1 has gone from purest form of racing to literally becoming massive RC cars as there controlled not only by the governing body to an over board extent but also limit the driver on what he can do.

(1) Mercedes: the best team in F1 under these regulations

--gap--

(2) Ferrari: Red Bull will have a better chassis, but the Ferrari power unit (and Vettel) are good enough to compensate

--gap--

(3) Red Bull: Ricciardo will have a better season, which will be enough to take third

(4) Williams: Yeah

--gap--

(5) Force India: Sure

--major gap--

(6) Toro Rosso: A good chassis, a weak engine, and one of the worst drivers on the grid in Sainz will hold them back—could STR 2015 be any closer to Williams 2012? An incredible chassis for each, and Sainz every bit the equal of Bruno Senna in under-delivering with it.

--gap--

(7) McLaren: I guess they have to get better. I doubt it will be by much.

(8) Renault: Because Palmer won't score a single point, and biased officiating will rob Maldonado of a few.

--gap--

(9) Sauber: 0 points; it's their thing to follow okay years with terrible ones

(10) Manor: 0 points; a Mercedes power unit can't make up for having 1/100th the budget of everyone else (and likely two drivers who aren't even GP2 champions, despite spending 106 years in the category)

(11) Haas: lol

The only revisions I'd make to the order (the commentary has proven somewhat inaccurate with driver lineup swaps), having seen the testing, would be to put Williams ahead of Red Bull for third and STR ahead of Force India for fifth. The rest still seems correct to me.

I seriously don't know how redbull and Renault get away with this engine deal. It's only because there not competitive that no cares, if they were at the front, people would be complaining. Because correct me if Iam wrong but because they have rebadged there engine they can claim it's a new manufacturer and claim maximum engine tokens:

My guess is, and it is only speculation, that this is more Ecclestone/RBR deal, in which Renault went for a ride more as a passenger, than a driver.

Certainly looks that way, it's only because of the pull and sponsorship redbull brings otherwise bernie wouldn't give a crap, he only ever does if there is some benifit for him.

Another thing I just thought about, remember when redbull threatened to quit over this engine dilemma? How good would it make bernie and f1 look if redbull left when it's involved with basically every other top form of Motorsport? Come to think about it, if they did leave like they said they were going to over the rediculous regulations it would have put a boot up bernies rectum and it would get rectified immediately. I could do with a loss of an established team if it meant more authentic racing. Or you think bernie would come up with this massive story saying how they wanted priority and all? Yeah that's more like it.

I am living witness how Ecclestone operates for many years, and based on his usual modus operandi I am convinced, that Ferrari and Mercedes would have been held responsible for RBR departure.
