Webber & Fisi Collision

Recommended Posts

well the race stuards are dumb then. it was clear it was a racing incedent, fisi had no control in his car as the tyres were practicly destroyed! I think if it was anyones fault it was marks for being too hasty, and fisi probably couldnt even se ehim, u can barely see behind you in f1 cars!

but as every1 else says it was a racing incedent,. nothing more

Thats the worse post in this thread. He knew he was there, as he was overtaking him, unless his IQ suddenly went under 10 he knew he'd be there.

well obviously he would have seen him first i was just saying he may not have been able to see where mark was wen he made the move. well whatever!

Its just a racing incedent. these things happen all the time

50 posts about the Webber-Fisi clash....hey guys stop!!!It's not that important it was a race incident ok?

Well thats aussies for you!!! Don't tell them to stop I think its quite funny. My view is that it was largely Fisi's fault but Webber should have been more cautious afterall he's the one who's got something to lose. These things happen and it provided us with some entertainment.

Stop with the petty arguing, its pathetic!!! lol.

Aussies are quite amazing in my opinion as they have amazing accents, and like surfing, whcih is amazing also!

brits are amazing because we just are! And we produce good sporting talent and produce some very good bands. (thats not pop bands though as pop music sucks soo much a##)

and aussies produce some pretty damn fine women, so do we.

most aussies are decendants from brits anyways!!! same as most americans!!! So really ur brits as well!

Yeah that must be where they get it from! I'm only joking Sato but the argument did make me laugh.

that's just plain inflammmatory. it's obvious it was fisi's fault, just to what degree.

it wasn't just a racing incident. the stewards even warned fisi. their message: if he does somthing stupid like that again he will be penalised.

well i was thinking today, mw mussels cars of the track and thats good driving but you cant mussle a car off the road from the outside.

Both drivers made errors in judgement. It's just Fisi's was worse as his car was in bad shape.

thing is mw passed him, fisi knew he was slower and overtook him at the next turn when clear mw was faster.

The stewards are useless. They consistently make stupid decisions and often punish the innocent party. Takuma Sato should have received a life ban from F1 for all the incidents he

Yes, but your opinion really should hold no credablity, after you seemingly blamed Taku for the Austria 02 crash.

so why include the image at all?  if you wanted to show the crashes that you think he  caused why not just use images of the crashes that you think he did cause?  by picking the most sensationalist image of a crash that he had absolutely no hand in causing you're the one that is not focussing on the truth, and merely spreading false messages through the use of propaganda.

i must say it was a funny montage and completely in character, but i detest the way you were so predictable in throwing fairness out the window when it comes to one of my favourite drivers, and then try to justify it like you are being completely reasonable.  which is in itself so unresaonable.

Taku I think we've learned by now that these ppl will never be fair in their arguments. Like I said previously of the Sato montage, half of the pics or more were of incidents that weren't his fault. I mean anyone could come up with the same amount of pictures of any driver.

The only one left that could change their views is Sato himself, but I suspect that even if he wins a race or two they'll still be hard pressed to give him full credit. (eg. so and so crashed out, failed, special Honda engines ect...) I for one am going to let Sato do the rest of the talking from here on in.

The fact that Sato is the only driver who gets attacked like this tells me the opinions are more personal than intellectual, and as I've learned through my travels such personalities will never change, no matter how hard they get hit over the head.

Back to Fisi/Webber - Again a much worse move when compared to Sato/Barrichello, but those same critics are willing to give Fisi the benefit of the doubt, even argue it was Webber's fault and stewards are idiots despite a clearly slower Fisi locking wheels and sliding a car width worth of space into Webber. Whereas Sato's move was in complete control, no locking, and both stayed in the race afterwards, yet not one of the same ppl were willing to acknowledge Barrichello should have seen him coming. Even Ross Brawn acknowledged Barrichello should have seen it and called Sato's attempt a great move, but I'm sure the critics know better than Brawn.

Fact is these are racing incidents. These guys are racing 950 bhp airplanes on wheels, and accidents will happen. Sometimes its clearly one's fault, others its simply a result of racing, which is why we watch it. Sure Fisi was more to blame clearly, but it wasn't a blatant punting move, just like Sato's wasn't.

I don't think his personality has got anything to do with it. If anything I think he's very polite and probably works quite hard. His English has improved more than most drivers' in a few years. These montages are just jokes that are funny because we don't think Sato is that good at the moment. Even some Sato fans liked them. If you don't think he can win races then he definately doesn't deserve to be in F1. Massa also got attacked for spinning a lot but he settled down and impressed against Fisi last year. I thought Ross Brawn blamed Sato? In any case we seem to be getting off topic, on which I have already stated my view...
