Narain is losing out to Monteiro who is the worst driver in recent F1 history. That is quite a pathetic record and does not lead me to believe that he would beat the Japanese.

It seems likely one of these two will not be in F1 next year but this is largely dependent on their backers and the money and technical support they are willing to put up. Let's ignore this and concentrate instead on which is the better driver. My money is on Sato as he had a very impressive run in F3 with Carlin before embarrassing himself int he big leagues. Narain did virtually nothing in motorsport before becoming a record-setting pay driver with his sponsors kicking in some $30M to land him his drive. Shocking, isn't it?

i think NK is just as good as SATO. ppl think that sato is better only cause he was in better car than narain was!

sponsors obviously prefer narain because he has 1.5 billion fans following him! NK's sponsors gave jordan more than $40M last year! and they will be doin the same thing the next year too! cause TATA want to expand their business everywhere in the world! they have already launched their cars in some countries in Europe, in South Africa i think...thats y they r thinking of starting a F1 team! this will obviously help them sell their cars!

It really doesn't take that much to be as good as Sato really, which Narain is not of course. It's like saying you graduated at the top of your class, but with only a score of say 50 out of 100. Nothing to be proud of, same with being as good as Sato, not that hard a task really. However in F3 Sato was mega, he destroyed Narain and every other driver.

the fact that chintan has sachin tendulkar in his avatar is testimony to the fact that he cant see beyond cket even in an f1 forum and as for his claims about $40million they are baseless ridiculous , ludicrous and inaccurate (he mentioned they paid last year)in fact the entire sum has still not been paid(it is in instawlments.if u dont agree to claims by a senior member( (CAV)they have substantial evidence how the hell ! are u believing a rookie's claims with out a single source(let alome a credible source)!

kimi raikkonnen did not not have an illustous career before he came to f1 ,klien was sponsered to about 15 million punds,shumacher was sponsered by mercedes,sato by honda because he is japanese,and anyway the so called drivers on a salary -ralf is not good enough ,fisichella is not good enough,i think karthikeyan is much better than someone like baumgartner,yoong,pantano,tarso marquez,and so many other rookies,and even albers and doornbos ,i mean what have they proved ,i think moniero and karthikeyan are better than all the other rookies this year ,and between them montiero has a slight advantage but karthikeyan can come back.
