No, it's just you! Why don't you ask MS how he won the US GP. Ask Monteiro how he got a podium. Ask Fisi how he won the Autralian GP and the Brazilian GP. Ask Alonso how he won most of his races this season.

I can go on ... So, as you can see, one can win a race without a 'race-winning car'. And Jenson had a very competitive car last year. IMO, he should have won a race.

In Canada, Montoya was faster and mclaren "FORGOT" to call him into the pits under the SC while he was leading the race.

In Belgium No doubt about it Montoya was quicker that Kimi the entire weekend until he had to slow down just before the pit stops so him team-mate could over-take him!

If Mclaren hadn't c##ked up Montoya's race in Spa, that clown Pizza boy wouldn't have hit him since he would have been about 15 seconds further up the road!

You forget that in Canada, Monty made several horrendous mistakes, including disobeying the pit 'do not exit' light, running off the track and barging into the SC queue out of order... Monty was not faster than Kimi anyway as evidenced by his slower faster lap.

In Belgium, Kimi bided his time behind Montoya and then turned it on when in the clear to get through during the pit sequence. If Monty was at all a team player he would have pulled over earlier such that the Finn could dash off into the distance.

You need to retract your obviously false statement that Montoya can beat any driver on his day. He cannot. In fact, apart from one less than convincing occasion this season (the Italian GP where the only reason JPM got the nod in the team-mate wars was because Kimi spun late inthe race after an intensely frustrating race), JPM has not outperformed arguaby the number three driver on the grid at all.

JPM made his first mistake by driving off the road at the pit exit and allowing Alonso through when he would have comfortably rejoined infront of Alonso and held him up for Kimi, the team's clear number one and only championship contender. That was before the SC came out and Montoya failed to pit and also before Montoya rejoined the track under a red light and barged infront of DC out of sequence. It was however after his FIA reprimand for reckless and deliberately dangerous driving in Monaco. Montoya was undoubtably the reject of the race, the starkest possible contrast with his team-mate who won from 7th on the grid.

In Belgium, McLaren did not issue team orders.

Kimi was behind Montoya and did not want to attempt a passing manuevor on the dangerous Columbian - can you blame him? - and instead waited till JPM pitted to reel off the fast laps. I don't see how that is evidence of anything other than Kimi's complete superiority.

fastest race lap only counts for one of the 69 laps of that race. I'll compare their lap times for that race over the weekend if I get the chance and I'll get back to you and the forum to let you all know which driver was fastest for most laps.
