Who Is The Nicest Driver In Formula 1

DC, Sato, Button, Alonso, Barrichello are my guesses going on what people say. I've met Rubens and I think he's quite friendly and polite. I know a few people who've met Jacques and they all said he was quite polite, talkative (as usual ) and happily signed autographs for them, but I've never met him so I can't really validate that myself.

My unbias view is Heidfeld. I never hear this guy bragging and gloating and falling all over himself.

Who voted Webber? Im a fan of the guy, heck he is my number 1 driver, but he isn't one of the nicest....having said that niether is DC and he has 8 votes!

Webber isn't too bad, he just has a big mouth. My unbiased pick would be Sato, from TV interviews and impression cause I haven't met any of the drivers before.

I remember the picture of him from Japan 2002, from hours after the race, with all the guys from his crew, in Japanese style clothes with japannese flags painted on there faces, celebrating with him, and a bunch of fans that had stayed around. That really made me think the guy must a be a joy to work with.

Then in 04 his BAR crew were doing the same!

I voted for DC as well. He seems to be one of last of the old school gentlemen drivers even though he is not old school.

Most of the others are pretty nice. JPM, not at all (sorry JPM Fans). I saw him push past an 8 or 9 year old kid looking for an autograph with nobody around and then only spend 10 min signing autographs saying it was to hot. Meanwhile his fans had been waiting in line for 2-3 hours and longer.

By the way, Phil Hill who is just a couple of years older than JPM wink wink stayed and signed autographs until everyone that wanted one got one (close to 2 hrs). It was an honor to meet and talk to him. CLASS ACT (old school)

I hated the way DH handled the 94 incident, i wanted him to go out and abuse MS so badly. Though you make a good point he did handle it all very well, and i never saw him make a bad comment about anyone.

I revoke my DC vote (unofficially) I think Sato, I have no idea why I didn't think of him before. Maybe because he's a bit insignificant in F1. Either way, he gets my vote for number 1 nice driver

Ever since Trulli accused Monteiro of hitting the pit-limiter during the race, I have disliked him. Even if Monteiro did do that, there is no need to embarass him by making that public knowledge. I would say that Takuma is the nicest driver on the grid.

I have voted for Felipe Massa. After gone through his web site and saw few interviews i feel that he is a nice person.
