Oh I fear for this board if Button pulls off a win, it'll be chaos!!!

Not really. If he wins, he wins in a race where he should of fairly easily.

If he doesn't, well then he is hopeless....

Fifsichella has time, and time again proven to be very poor this season, he is no match for someone who is suppose to be the best driver on the grid.

So do you guys think any of the back maker teams have an outside chance on the podium if it rains?

(Minardi,Jordan,Sauber)

Yes actually. Remember Brazil 2003.

The Saubers have around 25% chance of a podium if the conditions are topsy-turvy and they get their strategies right. Jordan and Minardi will be extremely lucky to pick a point

what about fisi in the superior renault?

Indeed fisi has been weak, but he also has a better car! And jenson is no where near being the best driver on the grid! Hes pathetic against kimi and fa really!

I am very surprised at Michael Schumacher's pace in session two and three of this weekend. Ferrari look strong but I think that is only in the wet. I have a feeling it will rain tomorrow regardless to the weather forecast so we should we an amazing race. Well done to Schumi and Rubens so far after a dismal first session. Let's hope that it pays out dividends in tomorrow's race.

excellent session! looks like bar could get 2 cars on the podium if the weather is decent.

"So do you guys think any of the back maker teams have an outside chance on the podium if it rains?

(Minardi,Jordan,Sauber)" (you could add williams to tis list their form has been so bad of late! )

i think there is definitely a chance. suzuka is so unforgiving in the wet, but i don't think there is the opportunity for chaos like brazil 2003, more like a driver will go off here, another there, etc as the run offs are quite good. there could however be a few safety car periods which will certainly spice things up.

I was tempted not to view this thread until midnight here

Might just go out and buy a few cans of Red Bull to help myself stay awake, even if it means sacrificing some teeth.

hmmmmm Kovalainen was VERY scrappy at bahrain a couple of weeks ago because he had pressure on him. The pressure if he got an F1 race would be even more immense... give him time to test a while longer, then he'll be ready

so JB is hopeless then! As for Ralf, it turns out he was on fumes. He only lasted 10 laps I think it was, and that's due to the Safety Car staying out so long!!!

No, poor JB didnt have the car to compete with the renault & mclaren today. Could just about keep on terms with a williams!! That first race win - 2006
