Button Fans Gutted, Webbo Fans Rejoicing

Recommended Posts

Well Button and Honda fans have to be gutted after his dismal performance, once again being out quilified by the Brazilian Rubens.

But hats off to Webbo as he pulls a p-3 out of his hat to match last years starting position on the grid.

A big day for the Aussi fans to be sure

A disappointment for sure. But he will start from 14th with his head held hi.

Good job to Webbo. He really does like this track and it shows. He's proven his worth to me by two consecutive good showings at Monaco. Now all he needs is for MS to take out Alonso.... :D

I have to agree, i've not been known as a Webbo fan and I'm still not, but he didn't put a foot wrong and well deserved his p-3.

The Aussi fans can hold their heads high, well at least till the start of the race ;)

Being a Button AND Webber fan it puts me in a difficult position... I have to laugh at Williams being better than Honda, but then...

Button should have found the space he needed, but for whatever reason he didn't and so didn't set a competative lap. Rubens found clear track and could set a decent lap which he did, so good on him. However I remain completely confident that Button is still the faster driver.

Webber drove the socks off that Williams, I would have LOVED to have seen that lap.

Indeed. Now I want to see what he does with that p3 tomorrow.

I'm afraid if he's on form he'll drop like a rock. He's never shown me that he can take advantage of such a good spot on the grid..

With Raikkonen behind him, he'd better hustle. I can see Webbo pitting and Kimi blasting a few laps out and taking the position. Webbo's only hope is to pit after Kimi. If he pits before, he's lost his podium.

Button now 13th, HAHAHAH pump, Justice has been served.

Anyway on Button, he didn't race there last year so he needed to acclimatise to the track unfortunantly. However he really was pretty pathetic, never really shone though he was faster than rubens in all practice sessions until quali. Strange but true!

No doubt the usual will happen and JB will beat rubens in the race!

Webber did well!

Well now he's starting from the front row of the grid he could just sneak a podium, but that would need 1 other big contender to have reliability or blonde issue, could happen. B)

Ha, Webber would do well to finish top 5 imo! Good luck to him though, would be nice to see him get a good result for once!

Well it looks like the Williams does have pace and they do naturally go well at Monaco - at least recently. If not, then he did a damn good job today. :king:

Im just praying JB is on a 1 stopper and the safety car comes out around lap14 and every1 pits and he doesnt have to so he will gain some places. that would be nice :)

I think DC is in 7th now. Im hopeing that he is on a one stop stategy and he can get past the Toyota and possibly the Honda on the first lap.

Strong run from DC, Webber etc. Button and both BMW Sauber boys had a shocker and now I can only hope for a point or two with some luck from JV as it's gonna be hard from P14.

I think he's pretty much got a seat set at RBR for next year anyways, but this will help of course.

Im still abit worried regarding Montoya as i feel if DC is going to loose his seat he will loose it to the Columbian.

Williams were very quick here last year aswell, so it's not that suprising to see Webber upfront again

Even Rosberg easily made it to the last session this time, while in other weekends he didn't even came close.
