We are few, but I really don't feel the need to lay into either driver. Both have good and bad sides to their characters as shown in their demeanor and actions.

When Schumacher arrived at Ferrati the team was in limbo mate. It took them 5 years to go back to the top. Your comment is therefore rather idiotic.

you seem to have missed the objective of the comment.you know as well as every other f1 fan that the rules almost never applied to the red team.they have been the main manipulator of the rules in f1.what's ruled for or against most teams is not necessarily what's ruled for the red team.if you re unable to realize that then i can only assume your comment as being idiotic.ahhh but i forgot!you support schmucker and he is above the rules and standards of the other drivers.sorry, my mistake.i'm not a supporter of crap!

In fairness though Ferrari did have by far the biggest budget in f1 for quite some time after 1996 and 'stole' most of Benetton's key technical staff!

I've heard that Toyota have the biggest budget this year and if you take a look a the difference you will notice that there's not really much in difference among the top teams.

I agree with this, BUT what you must also remember is that Toyota are somewhat of a joke.. Bmw for example haven't even been in control of Sauber for 1 year and are as good if not better already on a smaller budget!

Besides that I dont rate any driver at Red Bull or Toyota as anything more than average b-class drivers!

I never picked Michael, he picked me if that makes sense. Up to '94 i was a patriot with no particular favourite but normally rooting for Mansell or Hill. As Michael progressed through '95 i became to appreciate his skill a lot more and then i think Spain '96 sealed it for me.

Based on this, i won't 'pick' another favorite, i will wait and see if i am drawn toward one who demonstrates the same depth of abilities as Michael.

Of the current crop, i have deep respect and admiration for Kimi and Fernando of course, as many do i'm sure. I like others below them but these two guys are in a league of their own in my opinion. Of the two, it's my belief that Fernando is demonstrating the potential for that 'all round' ability so apparent in Michael. Kimi is blisteringly fast but a little ragged yet in my opinion. If he gets a decent Ferrari it may calm him down to get on with the job in hand and start looking at bigger pictures in a season.

He will be a hard act to follow but not irreplacable.

That race in spain was just unbelievable. Though I was still rooting for Hill in 96!!

I remember Kimi at Spa a few years ago coming through Eau Rouge when there was a crash at the top and not letting his foot off the gas - complete nutter!! lol It should be interesting next year and being patriotic, I hope Button can get in on the act as I'm not sure we've seen the best from him yet.

Can you please explain why you think JB isnt a good driver? He's making Rubens look bad, he consistently finishes in the points, very rarely makes any mistakes, good in qualifying, races cleanly and fairly, makes great overtaking moves, can fight at the front and not mess up, is great in the wet, how is he a bad driver?

I didnt say he was a bad driver. I think he is a very average driver. Next year will be the real test against Rubens as he will be completely settled into the team. He is OK in qualifying but isnt much better than his teammate usually. As for the races he has a bad habbit of going backwards and as for overtaking i dont think ive seen many moves made by Button this year (may be wrong as i cant remember). He doesnt make alot of mistakes but that just means he is consistant which is only half the equation. I think he lacks the raw speed of drivers like Schumacher, Alonso and Raikkonen.

wow, i'm surprised. its as common as peanut butter over here. Its a spread usually used in sandwichs or perhaps on toast. The advert on TV says 'you either love it or hate it', and I think fed up is implying thats the same with Jenson Button!
