cavallino 2 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 The Sydney Morning Herald is a really bad newspaper. For all my news i usually go to www.news.com.au Ouch (cringe) SMH might not be too great (I'm not sure, I don't read Australian newspapers that much), but it is far better than that site which is a mere front for articles from the Daily Telegraph. (OK on looking, the main page doesn't seem that awful, but I have seen the most awful standards of journalism in articles quoted from that site. ) For news I stick to BBC, although I have been wandering on Al Jazeera of late, wish we could get their English channel here. ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 England is playing very well at the moment in the 3rd test. England are bowling and the score is 7/220 and Monty Panesar has taken 4 wickets.
cavallino 2 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 What's the point, Australia will make 300, England about 350, then Australia will make 100 and England will get bowled out for about 23. They are just raising false hopes among England supporters only to crush them brutally

ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 See they maanged to lose 2 wickets already. England will collapse tomorrow, I assure you I hope they dont. Dispite me being Australian i really hope England win this match as it will keep the series alive and exciting. Whatever happens this match though England have found a really talented spin bowler who goes by the name of Monty Panesar and the best thing is that Monty is only 24 so he can play international cricket for at least another 10 years. Shane2 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 I personally cannot see that, they are playing for pride, and i feel they will make a competitive total, and even if they dont they stand a very good chance if Panesar continues in the form he is in at the moment. aussief1 4 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 Question for you all, what is the English version of a hat-trick? Answer. Three runs in three balls I've got more where that came from, believe me
cavallino 2 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 Australia should declare already, there is no way England are going to make that much in the second innings. They could be done and dusted by lunch tomorrow.

ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 We're going to have to stop inventing games so that we can't get beaten at them decades later!! You can invent them but the trick is to make sure no one else in the world would want to play the sport so there is no chance of you being beaten. The English keep inventing sports which are fun to play and as a result that sport grows in popularity all around the world and you eventually get beaten by other nations. The Americans have the correct idea, they created a form of football which no one else in the world would want to play and as a result they cant be beaten in that sport by all those pesky foreigners.
