Flintoff and Giles played reasonably well but Hoggard, Harmison and Anderson all were extremely disappointing. Agree, How about the first ball from Harmison Great toss to win for Ricky Ponting. Suberb captains knock from Ricky Ponting, this gives us a good base to amass a huge first innings total now. A declaration with about a session to go tomorrow is my prediction. Fingers crossed the poms come out to play a little better tomorrow

aussief1 4 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 To be fair though Ricky Ponting was actually out LBW when he was on 70 something. That decision could have gone either way true. Thankfully it went in our favour. Swings and roundabouts my friend How about the crazy Kiwi Billy Bowden scratching his nose with his bent finger during an appeal from the English!!!! ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 Hoggard just got 2 big wickets of Ponting and Gilchrist. Things are looking slightly better for England now.

ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 England have already lost this match big style. They just seem to be really nervous and lacking in confidence. I think the best England can hope for is a draw. I just checked England's record at 'The Gabba" and it isnt a good one which is a good sign for English supporters as this performance may just be a one off. I felt the English openers were doing OK but they practically just gave away their wickets and them getting out was deffenetly avoidable. England have all the ingredients to do really well buts its just a matter of getting it together.
Shane2 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 If our batting carries on collapsing like it is ATM we will be lucky to make Day
ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 If our batting carries on collapsing like it is ATM we will be lucky to make Day 4 England are playing alot better today as Pietersen and Collingwood have got a good partnership going and England now have a chance of a draw and if they keep playing like they are now they can actually win. Essentually they need 400 runs in 100 overs which is certainly possible given that they still have 7 wickets in hand.
Shane2 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 With only 5 wickets in hand i think our only hope is for a large part of the day to be rained off in all honesty. At least the lads showed some character today
